- I managed to get the official ParaPara controller and actually play this game as intended; doing the routines and matching the correct arrow. The controller took a while to configure since it's infrared, but it's worth the time. It works great....... except it doesn't read all of your moves. You'll have to exaggerate your moves a little for the sensors to read you.

Never played this game but i found this first song December 2006 from winamp internet radio totally random and still this kicks ass!

My town had the only dual(2 player) arcade version with the display screen in the middle in the USA. But the arcade shut down and someone bought the platform privately. I used to go there almost every day before and/or after work & now it's a panda express lol
I remember getting SSS the one and only time i managed. The bonus level in the arcade version didn't have arrows, but Ale Japan was 95% of time, the bonus. So I memorized it. Damn I took a photo of that SSS on an old Razor flip phone.
Play with the numbers was always my favorite. Thanks for the trip down memory lane lololol

Well, the maximum score for each stage is 100,000 points. A great is full credit and a good is a fifth of a credit. Bad/poor diminishes the dance gauge and if you do not reach 70% by the end of the stage, the game is over. The object is to wave close to the top as many as you can.
The possible score in each stage is 100,000. The score is calculated as 100,000 divided by the number of arrows variable n. If there are 125 arrows in one stage then each arrow is 800 points for great and 160 points for good (n/5). Great is n amount, good is n/5, and bad is nothing. Also, the health meter should reach at least 70% to clear a stage. Sudden missteps will result in a "game over."
Yes. But, you will need to "decrypt" and possible convert the data files on the disc to be even viewable (I don't remember how to do it anymore). If I remember looking at my disc, all videos are on one large data file. There no sound on the videos as they are located on another file.

I got it on ebay. Simply search for "parapara paradise" and it should come up.
If your PS2 is a Japanese system then no. If you have a non Japanese PS2, then you will have to modify your PS2 with a flip top and use swap magic.
If I buy this game, is it possible to get just the video files off?
