Hey Nummy, congrats on the trophy! I’ve also been really struggling with 1, 2, and 3s this league and your positive attitude and honesty about your struggles helped keep me motivated and trying. Got a few trophies thanks to Boros now- I’m sure you’ll have a dozen in no time!
Makes me feel a little better hearing that you've struggled with draft in this set. I'm fairly new to draft and did decent in Bloomburrow and a few other quick draft events. This one has kicked my ass.
I'm surprised about how much you like to pick the crab. You took it over a white room that triggers eerie twice when it enters then triggers eerie again +2 +1/+1 counters on your creatures and for me it looks like a good fit in the azorius tempo archetype, even if you don't necessarily play it on curve.
It's because I'm sure, like me, he has tried to play green manifest, and decked himself. Manifest really can kill you because of all the stupid discards in it. That is why you NEED recursion to library to make it viable in 40-card, and why the stupid Mind Shredder and Crab are so freaking annoying.
@@Personne_ssb I've consistently hit my removal with manifest dread every time. Bad luck aside i'm really not a big fan of this set for limited. I've been having a lot of fun deckbuilding with these cards though. If you're really lucky with your pulls you can consider not running a tempo deck lol.
In the last game, why did you not lead with the children? Then next turn you are guaranteed to be able to give your rollemodel flying by tapping it when you attack?
I've had bad luck with Dancers. But boy has Wandering Rescuer done some work! One game, I flashed in Rescuer to take out their 4/4, so opponent buffed it to an 8/4 not realizing how double strike works 😂 Then I used the red "two creatures cannot block" spell plus two Ethereal Armors and one-shotted them from 18 life.
I wouldn't say that Tale of Tamiyo is unplayable personally. You definitely shouldn't pick it highly, or even in general, but if you think your deck will consistently let you use the last mode to cast two relevant spells out of your graveyard the turn it ends, I think that's a potentially good card. It just should only be drafted to go in a deck that already is very likely to play and support it.
It’s disheartening when you do horrible at the start of a new set multiple drafts in a row lol. Been happening to me and I end up just chilling in quick draft 😂
I find Quick draft really tough for the last few sets, as the bots seem to draft any random stuff and the open lane seems to fluctuate way more than in premier draft
guess technically you couldve done bottomless pool > attack with glimmer seeker > get token, then play glimmerlight for the extra token if the manifest dread wasn't a big factor in the other line. idk tho
depends on ur wr. If u have bad wr (sub 54%) play quick drafts, if u have better than 54% play premier drafts. If you want to take ur time reading cards etc in the beginning of the format when quick drafts aren't available and u dont have the wr for premier play sealed.
I feel like I’m also hard liked at about2/3 ish wins, a couple 0 and 3 and it’s been rough so far. Some of the decks are fun but bad draws, bad plays, and the opponent with the nuts has just crushed me. Did a sweet Anzac reaminator with the land cycles the white overlord that barely made it 4/5 wins, but it was so cool
It's certainly a double-edged sword. On one hand it potentially fuels opponents delirium and reanimates, on the other hand it easily triggers multiple times per turn thanks to eerie. The Golgari and Simic self mill stuff already runs the risk of dying to decking and crab can speed that up. I think it's more a sideboard card for specific match ups though
Is decent in UR, last deck I drafted won by milling out op. While it can fuel op synergies you can mill them out quicker than them draining your life (hopefully).
I think my view of it is a little skewed cause the last time I played it, my opponent completely owned me with the black room that brings back all your creatures from the graveyard. It was brutal. I milled him all the way down to final two cards before I died to the mass attack.
Match 2 demonstrated everything I am seeing in this format, op is wubrg and getting rewarded with no fixing and youre sitting there on one land type most of the game but the unsummon effects in wu are unbeatable vs anyone playing 3+drops, nice job not getting derailed in the draft but imo stop picking the crab
Team 50% win rate represent.
You and a Kenji have been doing great! I love the start of a new limiter format
My two professors of limited.
Like father like son
Let's go!
My two go-to limited content creators haha
Man ghostly dancers is so ridiculous. Unlocking that door giving you an instant 2/5 3/1 and 3/3 manifested creature swung a couple of your games hard.
it pays to be... lucky!
I've only beaten Ghostly dancers once and I was quite ahead, there's a card to fear
Hold me closer Ghostly Dancer.

Great “Killers” reference there 👍🏻

@@ZeroG I've seen mindskinner twice, and it awlays milled every removal in one hit, this card is weird, it doesn't look that great but it works.

Dancers is such a strong card.
Congrats on your first! Great video!
I appreciate that you hyped this video and then it was just mono Ghostly Dancers. jee jeeeeeeze

Nice work bro. Thanks for the solid content. This is where the tide turns for you.
I need to incorporate "Glimmerbusting" into a joke at some point in regular conversation 18:38
Nothing wrong with struggling, you'll def figure it out. Thanks for sharing.
New subscriber here. Big fan of how composed you are even when the arena algorithm doesn't play nice.
This was a really cool deck :) Yeah Ghostly Dancers is disgusting.
Yesss that was hella satisfying to watch. Grats on the perfect draft
Congratulations 🎉 Dancers were absurd!
There was a great UR room deck with the elevator in this draft.

Quick draft way more fun imo, just able to draft insane decks and face real opponents with their insane decks lol
@@mightyhulk1483 yeah quick draft is hilarious it's like limited decks hall of fame level power on each side

Ok, Ghostly Dancers is good, I'm learned.
I died to curve out 3 times in a row. It's kind of frustrating when brewing something cool....
guess technically you couldve done bottomless pool > attack with glimmer seeker > get token, then play glimmerlight for the extra token if the manifest dread wasn't a big factor in the other line. idk tho
also the last game could've curved orphans of the wheat into role model to guarentee the role model activation with orphan's attack trigger
I may be in the lower leagues (silver gold) , but red green multiple slayer and 2/2 death touch has left me 14 n 1 in last two drafts
What event or draft is best to do? Or more rewarding and worth the price?

Man I feel like crab is actively bad in this format. There’s so much graveyard stuff.

Today a guy Decked me with Two crabs and a lot of earie stuff, it's a real card, but a riski one
I think my view of it is a little skewed cause the last time I played it, my opponent completely owned me with the black room that brings back all your creatures from the graveyard. It was brutal. I milled him all the way down to final two cards before I died to the mass attack.
Delectable!
Glimmerbust would have been a much better card. It makes you feel good.
Man what is going on with UA-cam? I just had 3x two unskippable adds during the first game
With my luck, I could draft the same cards and NEVER draw the dancer and go 0-3
Unlike the last format you really just got to open good rares
Your deck needs to be a bunch of rares and uncommons and a handful of Commons to succeed
Feels even worse than BLB to me tbh. But let’s see

yay !!!!

Woop woop first comment, thanks for the content Nummy!
oof I see you as second, gg no re
Seems like a very bomby format so far and with there being more rares per pack now it's probably going to lead to some really stupid games
Redemption
Delectable
Crab over white room seemed crazy, and then a lot of disrespect for the late pack 3 windbreaker. Card is legit
nice
Lol, congrats on the trophy.
SERIOUS QUESTION. Brother, are you bald by choice?
in some areas, yes
