- It was a struggle to get out to skate this week, luckily I had the amazing DLST to help me. This week I announce our Skater Of The Series!

Mate you are a man of many talents indeed. Stoked for Simon, he’s being putting the work in for sure and deserves the recognition. My kids just broke up for the summer too so I’ll be snatching sessions where I can too. I’ll make a point of heading up to skate with you in the autumn once schools are back in.

@@WonkyDuckSk8s yeah, some people don't recommend it as it can expose your deck to moisture and it can lose it's pop, but for me the positives out way the negatives

@@skate-vision thanks, I have a bad habit of turning my shoulder and pulling my ollies to the left, which was much worse in these rushed situations. Next few sessions I'm going to focus on cleaning them up 😎 thanks for stopping by 🛹
@@DadLeisureSkateboarding yeah have same problem sometimes, try focusing still and not turning your shoulders, stick them to bolts ;) 😜

I know exactly how you feel, my boss just brought me back to the office for 3 consecutive days and the ridiculous thing is he is retiring in October, wouldn't be so bad but it's like an hour drive one way, and like you both my boys are home for the summer, it is busy being a dad that's for sure! Anyway, great haircut, good video love the dedication on the Ollie! I have been using the new time I have at work to sesh in the morning before I go in just an idea!
Ahh man, I like my routine and having allocated time for things so when that gets disrupted I get frustrated but as you know being a Dad with work commitments you just have to adapt! I will have time to skate still but it won't be as regular and I'm not sure how many videos I will make, so I just wanted to put it out there not to expect the frequency and standard I have been posting recently 😂 thanks for your comment man 😎

Thanks man, just catching up on your vid! I will still share things if I get out skating... I want to keep the standard I've started to achieve with the videos so a weekly long form one is unrealistic for the next few weeks but it will probably be shorts, occasional long forms and community posts with the view to another full blown series in Sept/Oct. I will still have plenty of time sat at my desk to catch up on everyone else's' content though :D
