I heard Icehouse live at Expo 88, and I was gutted as the sound EQ and the way the vocals carried was not great. I have heard that Icehouse sound better in an indoors venue. I love Iva Davies but to be honest he really is a great studio artist. Brings back memories...

Paul is a freaking LEGEND! That man is so insanely talented it's crazy. One of the best drummers in music E.V.E.R.
Somebody was hitting some wrong chords during the sax solo, as if one guitar was playing the right one but another one was playing 1/2 step lower.

Same key, just slower - so it sounds lower...much like speeding things up makes it sound higher...try playing back at 1.25 speed...or 1.1 or 1.15...
