Hi, I am a doctor and am 18 weeks pregnant. I have been following all your week by week videos and have really enjoyed them. I just wanted to add that it is better to get an ultrasound around week 19 which is more than sufficient to see all vital organs and will also help to act timely in case of any abnormality. Week 22 might be a bit late for that. Ultrasound is not harmful for the babies so no worries there. Thanks for the great content.
@@maryankabiri5272 i would consider it the last week of month 4 by 20 weeks you will be 5months pregnant. but some say 19 weeks is already 5 months depends how you calculate it weather by week or month
19weeks with my first baby.. My husband has disappeared for more than a month now and his family is literaly ghosting me- a stressful phase of my marriage life but I am trying my best to be strong for me and the baby… The very thought of having a child that will be completely dependent on me gives me strength to move on at least for this precious soul inside of me.
19 weeks today with a baby boy! I’m beyond the point of excited 🥰 I can feel him turning at night to get comfortable on that right side but he is absolutely loved already. I always talk to him in the shower
I’m 19 weeks and 4 days today and I found out yesterday that we are a having a baby girl ! We are super excited and preparing for the new and first time journey ahead of us. I feel blessed it’s a beautiful gift to be able to create out little baby. I pray for a continued healthy pregnancy. I wish you all healthy pregnancies as well!
I am 19 weeks today and my husband and I just went for our facial and spa day! I waiting on the stone chair while he enjoyed the sauna and hot tub afterwards. We thought we’ve felt a few kicks starting in week 17, but just the other day we had both officially felt her kicks! It was such an amazing experience.
We found out Thursday we are having a baby boy, Asher Liam. Genevieve, your book has been the most encouraging and empowering for my pregnancy (my first at 30), although we won't be able to deliver with a midwife. Thank you so much for writing this book!
I’m 19 weeks pregnant with my first, it’s a boy.. I’m so excited! I have anterior placenta, but I’ve felt baby movements since 16 wks such as rolling sensations, even when I got an ultrasound done around that time he was so active kicking, moving, stretching ❤️
I am 19 weeks with my second baby and am having his second and last ultrasound next week. With my first we only had one ultrasound at 24 weeks. I felt a little nervous about this pregnancy after a recent miscarriage so the early ultrasound at around 12 weeks was just to put my mind at ease about his development. My doctor would have me do so many more but I dont believe there is any benefit to them if the baby is healthy and we are showing all the other signs of healthy growth and development.
19 weeks today with my second baby boy ❤️ my son loves to sing to his soon to be baby brother! Also getting my first adjustment ever tomorrow and I’m so excited!

I'm 19 weeks too just found out its a boy also got a penis scan picture I'm super excited he's name he's gonna be Noah by God grace 💙🙏🏾 I'm having so much back and abdomen pain i have been very sick but doctor says everything is fine I'm trusting God for a safety pregnancy journey 🙏🏾
I'm 19 weeks along with my baby boy, the anomaly test showed he has VSD and missing his mitral valve. I have to go back at 22 weeks to see if there's any improvement because I believe they could be wrong. I'm praying and doing research in the meantime. Anyone else here dealing with this or has dealt with something similar? Any advice on what I can do to save my baby is welcomed. Thanks
I'm not sure it's correct to say that the ultrasound does not improve outcomes. Coming from a high-risk pregnancy where my cervical length has been identified as short, this has guided the commencement of progesterone to reduce the risk of pre-term labor. Vasa previa is a common and very important finding to prevent haemorrhage at birth. Many cardiac defects are picked up at the 19-21 week morphology that can guide neonatal management and concealing. I'd be very interested to read the articles you have referred to in the video, are you able to provide a link to these? Thanks
19 weeks and 6 days. This is my first pregnancy and I felt the baby move very early in my pregnancy, however it is never consistent because of my placenta. So when I don't feel the baby, I just worry. 20 weeks ultrasound in two days, I'm anxious to see how the baby is developing, I'm not even focused on the sex. I just want a healthy baby
It’s really normal not to feel baby consistently until around 24-28 weeks so you’re ahead of the game! Here’s to a healthy, happy baby at your ultrasound!!
Anterior placentas most often do not cause issues, no matter what position the baby is in, and if you're only 19 weeks then there is plenty of time for baby to get into an optimal position!
@@mamanatural Good afternoon! Two more weeks and I’ll be 6 months! I’m not nervous yet. 😱 Lol it has been 16 years since my second son. I’m wondering how things will be to have a daughter.
Everyone feels their baby differently and around different times, even from pregnancy to pregnancy. You may have a less active baby this time, or you may have an anterior placenta, which can "muffle" feeling the baby move. You should start to notice more movement in the next few weeks!
It's my 19th week of pregnancy💙 we are gonna have a baby boy. I had that shooting pain in my pelvic runs upto my thigh. But it was just for two days and no pain at all now. Thank you for this amazing video 💙
Sounds like you were experiencing some lighting crotch or round ligament pain-so glad it’s not bothering you anymore. And thank you for watching!! Congratulations!

My wife is 19 weeks today and we confirmed the sex to be XY 🥰 My first Child, Cant wait to be a father. We got a name for him already. Aayan is his name.
You may have round ligament pains which can be fairly severe for some people. If you’re concerned though you may need to mention it to your doctor asap to rule out something more serious going on!
ive also got a posterior placenta too and its good because you will feel babys movements alot more than you would if you had an anterior placenta because posterior placenta is implanted on the back wall of the uterus so theres nothing blocking the babys movements. anterior blocks most baby movements and might not feel them as much or as early as you would with a posterior
I hope your baby is doing fine and is healthy. I may be projecting my fears here but please reconsider having at least the 22 week anomaly scan...I'm not trying to scare you but I wanted to wait but ended up going to do my scan 3 days ago and found my baby boy has a large congenital heart defect known as VSD. So now I have a little time to plan early medical intervention and give him the best chance at survival because my country don't perform the surgery I'm using the time to research and raise funds to help him. That may not be your case but I think it's best to be certain. Again, I wish you and your little bundle of joy all the best.
