Great review thanks Sarah - I guess you could always use a power bank as that would mean no power board was needed - and nowadays they even have normal power boards with USB inputs as well - so this light is definitely adapting to modern times. A wide C clamp certain allows it to be used in lots of spaces ❤
Does that only attach to a table or does it have a free-standing ability to set beside a chair or a bed? I generally recline back on/in my bed to stitch, that's because my light is a the heavy stand! I'm not lugging it from the bed over to my chair here in my bedroom! Too heavy!!! Yes, I have a small bedroom, but I also have a muscle disease that causes muscle spasms, and that little bit can set them off, so I avoid it! Now that the days are getting shorter, it's about fully dark by 7:30 here in Michigan requiring indoor lighting by about 7 pm, so I can't stitch in my chair any longer just using daylight, plus I'm spoiled with this light I have now, I just leave it next to my bed and use it all the time! Yes! It does make it easier to doze off!! I KNEW you were probably thinking that! Lololol!!!!! Usually, as long as I'm well rested, I can stay awake just fine! Lol!!!!! I am looking for a new light that can do the same as this one, so it's nice to know it's not as bright as the one you had before. Thank you for sharing that! It 'might' be worth looking into...I'm not sure because of how it looks like it mounts onto a table. I don't have anything it could attach to here next to my bed....this light is flickering the moment I turn it on, yet 'seems' to stop after it warms up, but that is brand new! I'm worried this will die! Thank you, also, for sharing with us it only runs on a USB cord! I had no idea about that! Thankfully, I am like you in that there is a plug on the floor next to my bed that has 2 USB plug-in ports! I'll see....I'm watching any and all reviews about lights as they pop up in my feed, so thank you sooooooo very much! Perfect timing for myself!!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE your videos! I turn to yours first, always! You senf warm, fuzzy feelings you care so much about your family, cross stitch and us Viewers of yours making it well known! Thank you for taking the time to make these videos! I've never missed one! Bless you and your family, and may you get more time to stitch your gorgeous patterns you choose! I love them all!
Hello, Laurie. This desk light only has the C clamp to attach to the surface. It actually would be a great light for by the bed. I certainly feel as though I could still use for stitching. Thank you for watching and your kind words.
Thank you, Sarah. I hope better light manufacturers send lights to you to test. Big smile!
Thank you Sarah for the informative video. ❤

The power towers at retreats typically have USB “outlets.” Power strips have them now, too. No need to worry about how to juice the lamp!
Great review! Very fair!
Great review Sarah. ❤

Great review! Will have to put you on QVC. Lol.
Now there is a gig we haven’t thought about. Lol
❤❤❤
For travel, I would purchase a rechargeable power bank to plug the USB connection into.
Nice review & rating.
