Had to come out of my lurking to celebrate some memories. I grew up in Greenfield, IN, home of James Whitcomb Riley, and every year, the Riley Days parade would have a float contest, and the theme was always one of his poems. As soon as I saw the title, I was transported right back to childhood, laughing on a float with my Girl Scout troupe. Then Pam started reading it, and it was just so much joy for me. Thanks!

Love this idea, and especially love the James Whitcomb Riley poem since he belongs to us here in Indianapolis, IN, I’m proud to say. I have collected a couple of vintage copies of his work, and his home can be toured in town. I am planning on making a fabric journal as I see others want to as well! I did find the video. I’m going to use an Amazon bubble wrap envelope as a base for that extra crinkly sound! As to today’s idea, I have made a journal to record a road trip taken this summer to Brimfield Flea Market, Orchard House, Maine (Acacia, Stephen King’s home, etc.), Mark Twain’s home, Gettysburg etc. I will try to use some writing of Louisa Mae Alcott to make these flip ups! I haven't watched this one yet... Just wanted to reach out and give you a huge THANK YOU for mentioning Lorri Marie Jenkins in a previous video. I started watching her years ago before the junk journal craze and I love her style! That's actually what I'm doing now...watching some oldies of hers. She's living in Costa Rica now; not sure how that came about but can't hold a free spirit down! When I hear "stabilo" I think of her. When I hear "cropadile" I think of you. 😊

Thanks for always making me laugh. When you were putting the sections down with top of the poem in the middle I was yelling no Pam it’s in the wrong order…😂. I also have issues with glueing. Especially when the glue is all over your fingers. You recovered perfectly. Another fun project. Thanks 😊
