Not sure how to say this, but I am no longer allowed to watch your videos because as my husband says, you convince me to buy too many things!!! LOL 🤣🤣😂 I debated this pen for a hot minute and then saw your video and you totally convinced me. I did get into a small amount of trouble when I fessed up to the price I spent on it, but YOLO!!! As a fountain pen newbie, I LOVE your content and cannot say enough good things. I get so excited when I see a video from you and please know you are truly appreciated!
Thank you so much Teri!! I hope you're not too much in the dog house 🙈 it is a beautiful pen and I'm sure you will love writing with it! Tell your husband it's good for a lifetime so he feels better about the price haha ❤️
GAH!!! It just came today and it is STUNNING! I am super happy with my decision and thank you so much for sharing and "convincing" me to get it. @@mydandeliondiaries
Congratulations on your new GRAIL pen!! It's absolutely gorgeous! The information booklet is written in Mandarin, it is a message from Pilot Taiwan " Thank you for your continuous support of Pilot Taiwan, on this momentous occasion we present the limited edition 30th Anniversary brand new matte green Capless which is a click retractable style fountain pen. From this day forth, here at Pilot Taiwan we will continue to work hard to fulfill the expectations of luxury stationery users. The Capless series is the world's first retractable fountain pen. Since its debut in 1963, it has always been one of the most coveted fountain pens on the market. With a press of a button, the Capless turns into a writing instrument and when the nib is retracted it is contained in a controlled tightly sealed environment preventing ink from drying and leaking. Because of this innovation and sophistication, the Capless has become a favourite and held in high esteem in Taiwan." (I did my best, hope it makes sense!) Edit: the gold writing at the very bottom lists the contents of this 30th Anniverasry Box Set.
Congratulations! Such a gorgeous pen! I have the "Stormtrooper" VP/Capless, but it's a bit troublesome. Your genuine enthusiasm has forced me to revisit my pen with the hopes of reviving it! Thank you!
What a marvellous fountain pen! I'm a little bit jealous ... but I hope you enjoy it! 😁 But nonetheless I do love my Pilot Custom 743 - with the Con-40. It's really not the best converter, but with the right technique you can do a full fill.

@@ilananl1004 No haha 😅 I think the Dutch language is very interesting! The letters and characters and pronunciation is very unique to me 😄I like languages in general 😊
@@mydandeliondiaries hahaha, well i am dutch, so i was like: what did she just say?! The funny thing was also that i just saw on a dutch ebay like website, that bamboo capless you mentioned for half the price. And an hour later you posted this video… but with the dark matte green, i think you might have found a much nicer grail pen than the bamboo capless :-) i’m still on the lookout for a capless or decimo myself but i’m only allowed to browse for a long while. Because i just spend waaay too much on a limited edition Pilot Elite in blue and am completely in love with the various vintage Elites as well so i now have several in different nib sizes. But the feel of the writing experience is addicting. Also the new, now available Pilot Elite/E95s in M. So buttery soft and smooth! And I suspect the decimo/capless nibs have a similar feel. It used to be that the pilot custom 823 was my grail pen. But now that i have it, i much prefer the writing experience of my Pilot Elite (m) or custom 74 m. Maybe that will change once i have a capless? A very long way of telling you that i can relate to the joy of finally having a grail pen in your hands! With the custom 823 it was disappointing because i did not have an OMG writing experience but i did with my Elite in M. Just a few more days and i hopefully i will have the same experience with the blue Elite 😊 look forward to your end of the month video and your thoughts after writing with your beautiful pen for a couple of weeks!
So beautiful, I finally caved on a vanishing point recently and actually rarely use it so that’s funny…. Also thank you for being transparent about the price. My new hot take for the planner community is: be upfront with how much they are spending on supplies and stickers.
Thanks for the shoutout, Danielle! :D This Vanishing Point is so lovely!! It's just as great as the bamboo one due to it being Matte! The bamboo one was also the one I wanted, lovely colors and love the name for it! This one is perfect at the price point we can afford and is globally available! XD All your fangirling is well appreciated and welcomed!!! :D Hope you're enjoying and loving it a ton!
This is gorgeous! It is nice to see that they brought the color back. I have a green Namiki capless fountain pen I bought for my husband 32 years ago. It has silver trim and a plastic/resin body. I like yours better! Congratulations!
I saw @KenChanKrafts video. I fell in love with this pen then. I totally wish I could afford this pen. I don't own a vanishing point, but this would be my first one.
It is a bit pricey. Not something I normally spend but the opportunity was there for me. I hope they come out with a green and gold hardware as a standard color in their line up. That way it is priced much like the other VPs.
Usually you have to leave the pen nib down for a little bit to get the ink to flow. I also dip the nib into the ink sometimes to start the process of getting the ink to flow down the converter/cartridge.
@@mydandeliondiaries thank you for the response. I came across @kenchankrafts vlog and he recommended muzepens shop. I was able to source mine yesterday. I'm really sold on this vp as your review is compelling 😊 thank you again
This was my first visit to your channel. Nice video! I am highly impressed by your use of the adhesive tape dispenser as a holder for the ink sample tube. Brilliant! Yesterday at my local pen club there were several folks who had brought Pilot VP and/or Decimo pens. I had three newly-arrived Moonman A2. This model has had mixed reviews. I found mine to be just fine: easy enough to fill, equipped with a converter and two cartridges, one of which has a seal, an eyedropper, and a metal cover for the cartridge. Though the nibs are EF, which I generally don't favor, they write smoothly, don't skip or scratch. There are distinct style differences between the A2 and the VP, so no, it is not a direct ripoff. Plastic, faceted bodies, steel innards, functional clips. Enjoy your limited edition, special anniversary grail pen! What a terrific find and gift to yourself. I am pleased to have found you.
I'm happy for you, and envious. It's a beautiful pen, especially compared to my 'ordinary' VPs; black w gold trim, a VP Raden Galaxy black SE with Silver trim; a VP blue carbonesque with silver trim, and finally, a red Decimo with silver trim. All these pens have silver 18k nibs in M, except for one stub. Having used them all for awhile, I prefer the Decimo because it is the slimmest, and has the stub nib (tho that doesn't matter because the entire nib units are interchangeable). As soon as I finished watching this, I went to the Yoseka Stationery site, intending to buy one. ALAS! Sold out!
Check out Muse pens!! I've heard some other creators were able to get a unit from them :) The VP Raden Galaxy Black is another one I would love to have, the sparkles are so pretty!
