"Like where do you think the stuff is coming from?" Many years ago, American farmers were striking for government aid due to the fact that it cost more to raise crops than the produce buyers were willing to pay. The cause of this was too much produce was being produce around the world and many governments would buy up the excess and dump it in other countries. Yes, the US did it with dairy as well. The result was the governments got together and came up with a way of paying farmers to lay off farm land. Each country is different but the result was produce became a little bit more scarce, so the price went up to where it paid for the fuel and other production cost. This saved a lot of farmers. During the strike, I happened to be in a grocery store in Denver Colorado and overheard so ladies standing near produce complaining how the strike was going to raise prices and they did not see what a farmer needed more money for. Since she was standing near cucumbers, I asked her where she thought the cucumbers came from. She rolled her eyes and says "from a factory, of course". I worked at a dept store back in the mid 90's (no not a wallyworld, they were not very popular if even in existence then). we did have a loss prevention team, and camera's were a lot different in those days. I learned from them that stores back then only had a few actual camera's, and that above the drop ceiling was a catwalk system, and they'd relocate wired camera's from one camera spot to another depending on what is being targeted by shop lifters. (camera spots were dark bubble like plastic domes that prevented customers from being able to tell if a camera is present or not. camera's back then were not much different than what was like a vhs camcorder minus the vhs player and wired to a central security office) the only static camera's was the ones focused on customer service and registers. That location even used a TV antenna router near the entry way to mount the camera on inside a larger camera bubble so they can rotate the camera from inside the office to pan the open area of the store) When a shoplifter was caught, and there wasn't enough LP employee's they'd voluntell enough regular employee's to accompany them to the office to talk to the shoplifter and possibly wait for the police so there'd be at least 3 people in the office other than the shoplifter. This was done to have extra witnesses. Laws in my state are rather strict on the libel laws and false accusations so they had to be covered for all of that. the one time I was kept as an extra witness, it was taking the stolen thing out of the jacket, give him a pat down, check the wallet for id, and note in the paper work any credit cards and amount of cash the shoplifter had on hand. In that case he clearly asked why he was stealing when he had enough cash to afford it if he were to properly purchase it. Feeling better with crystals and the proper usage of essential oils is entirely different than a full blown cure. Some things will work to ease the side effects of treatments without further side effects, several scents like lavender are very calming and will ease tension. Stuff like that. Honestly, anything that improves your sense of well-being and keeps you from feeling any crappier is a good thing when you're that sick. Be it your partner, your pet, a squishy plush, a room full of crystals
I so agree with the last cimmentor in the last story. Too many people read what they want not what was said. I guess that comes with our current society that is offended by anything.
The Karen blocks them from leaving so she can tell them to leave? I'd say she needed a mental assessment but Karens do not actually have minds, having lost them long, long ago.
As someone who just had an aunt die from cancer, I have mixed feelings on the 3rd story. My aunt was, to put it bluntly, incredibly cruel and narcissistic. She wasn't always a complete jerk but she definitely did a lot to torment both my mother (her sister) and others in her life. She got diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer that had metastasized to other parts of her body. She was in a lot of pain but she was MEAN and terrorized everyone she could. While I felt sorry for her pain and after she died I mourned her, it doesn't change the fact that she caused a lot of suffering for those around her. The fact that the sister in the 3rd story was so cruel and then expected the very people she tormented to support her, it screams of either extreme entitlement or delusions of her behavior being "Ok". I won't say that the OP wasn't at least a little mean in saying what he did to her face but frankly sometimes you just need to let it out. Also, maybe it's my inner cynic talking but, the fact that the sister called OP and the other siblings that she had previously rejected makes me think that she might not actually have cancer and is just trying to scam money out of the parents and others.
Heart attack, time is muscle. The goal is door to balloon in 90 minutes, which includes admission, tests, diagnosis, transfer to cardiac cath lab and access. 7 minutes avoidable delay is huge. I'm a retired ICU/Life Flight/Trauma nurse and also worked cardiac cath lab, so I know what I'm talking about.
fun fact you can not actually stop customers on the way out to look through there bags unless you are actually accusing them of shop lifting. the exception being the warehouse stores like sams or Costco cause you sing that away in a contract. at least in merica
Not all of the U.S. but some states and smaller governing bodies have gone into stupid mode and passed nonsensical laws like that which have had exactly the wrong effect of course.
where i live they offe selfcheckout in some shops. they wil always have the system decide to have someone check between me selecting i want to pay and me actualy paying. in my opinion that is the moment to check not after the transaction is compleat
Regarding that loss prevention and missed quota story, if I was told that I would be docked hours for missing the quote, I'd wait until the last day for the quota then stop the manager who docked my pay. False alarms happen all the time with suspected shoplifters, and the quota cares about number of detentions not number of shoplifters being caught.
Story 2: Had I been the manager, I would have personally pulled an all nighter doing inventory count just to be sure losses were minimal and comparatively similar to losses from when loss prevention did meet their quotas.
Lol a buddy of mine worked at sound play ground when they did that to the whole lp department for a part of the region. The first Saturday the store lost 200k of stuff. People walked out with those old school projection tvs.
That Karen slapping the EMT was more than really dumb. If you're committing a crime, in her case scamming people, it's best to keep a low profile. That Karen had proved her stupidity quite nicely. That last Karen was a pip. Like the narratator said, if you've have a few, it's best to claim fault when the cops arrive. She received her just reward.
I wish we had that EMT law stateside. I'm tired of Karen and Jevin getting away with their crap. Also, I'm glad the kid the farmer met was doing alright.
Not sure where you live, but had someone did that where I live in the US, not only would the woman be in jail, her husband would have a serious investigation initiated against him and if the allegations of his interference were found to be true, he'd be joining her in prison.
@@stischer47 That's a pretty uncommon law. I've heard these stories a lot and the problem rarely gets any kind of direct charge. It's usually something like assaulting or threatening people or traffic infractions.
Story 2: This store's policy of having shoplifting quotas is just like the ticket quotas that many police departments have, to the point where even the most minor of non-moving violations get someone ticketed. Here, they claim they want to reduce crime, but it is ironically crime that allows them to have a job in the first place. It actually reminds me of a scene from the late 1990s-early 2000s sitcom "Becker," where the eponymous character asked a police officer to settle a debate that he had with a friend of his about whether or not crime was down in New York City. The cop said that it was trending downwards, but he said that, "It better not go down any further, or else I'm out of a job." It kind of puts police officers and loss prevention in a no-win scenario. They need the very thing they are trying to get rid of in order to stay employed. If they get rid of it, they don't have a job, because there will be no more need for them. If they don't get rid of it, they get to keep their job, but the problem still persists.

The abusive sister with cancer: My ex husband told me he had cancer and asked for my support. He had abused me and my kids from another marriage emotionally/psychologically/financially/physically for almost a decade. I and my kids escaped and were living in peace and moderate prosperity at last. My response: Karma sucks, doesn't it? And I walked away. I never spoke with him again. When he died a few years later, I did go to his memorial dinner, since his children didn't blame me for my reaction and still counted me as family.

"I don't care about any stupid patient" should net you a dislocated joint so we can test that theory if the Karen is the patient. Also, as always, spell check and Grammarly can *suck it* because a Karen, as a title, becomes a descriptive (and an insulting one) so The Karen, as a Karen, can be The Karen in sentence structure. Y'all got that, Grammarly?
The Quota the Loss Prevention crew needed to meet is so Manglement can Justify the Salaries they pay for the LP Team...They see it as if the LP Team isn't catching [X] number of Thieves each week, then they're obviously slacking off and need to be punished... The Security quota is usually implemented by someone who has no security background and wants actual number for security to prove they are doing their job and not sitting in the security office watching youtube on their phone. In their minds a low/missed quota is security not doing their job and allowing criminals to rob the store blind, like what happened when security wasn't there. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Ripe, a DWI isn't read as a DUI. Both essentially mean the same thing but use different words. DUI = Driving Under the Influence. DWI = Driving While Intoxicated.
last story, drunk driving and drug use with a minor in the car? considering there was a divorce and karen was the one that won the custody battle i doubt she got custody any more afther that. neither the Cops, court or the the cps would want her having custody afther that unless dad was somehow worse (dident sound like it). something like that is a golden oppertunity to take up the custody battle and demolish the karen.
i would think karen needed to pay a substansial amount of money to the family of woman that died considering she was found guilty of beeing the reason for why the woman died. in adition to that she most likely ended up getting some hefty fines from her store. some of the reviews about the oil etc helping some with the pain etc might be acctual true, but it wouldent have an effect on the cancer (or other terminal illneses) itself. like lindering some of the pain or help people handeling the side effects of the treatment for the cancer itself. (the treathment can be realy brutal, and it is a brutal disease and people claiming crystals etc can straight up cure it should be sent to jail considering people might not get acctualy effectire treatments for cancer because they belived the sharlatans.
story 2: i dont understand the concept of a bonus system for security personal. If they do a good job, the amount of thefts will decrease over time. So this is a loss - loss for everyone.
really 10 years for having a patient die in that ambulance? she should've gotten at least 50 for it, also she be taught a hard lesson to NEVER stall an emt's job of saving someone's life. also I hope that husband of her's gets fired for trying to harbor a fugitive out of prison for whatever reason. and lastly, if that karen is an anti-vaxxer, then they better shut down her business for getting people more sick then usual, for GOOD!

Karen: Slaps EMT Police: Tase Karen Karen: Screams like a wild uncivilized human being and kicks the police officers. Police: STOP RESISTING! STOP RESISTING! STOP RESISTING!
Day three of trying to get ripe to reply to my comment for every video until the day I die, for each video. Also, good video. Only if Karen’s didn’t exist in this world.. that would be a perfect world.
Story 3: she asked them over for lunch... and you still had to bring your own food. Yeah, Ava needs a reality check, and you admittedly /are/ an a-hole, but that's turnabout for you.... your parents are also a-holes for standing by her like she never did anything wrong... but to have you bring your own food when inviting you to lunch is only okay if you have specific dietary preferences or needs you haven't disclosed yet or repeatedly refused to eat what was provided without further explanation... Sadly I've had people as guests that kept pulling those specific stunts myself, so I know it's a possibility.

I just "love" the way people know they are in the wrong and project their crimes onto others.
is that about the first story or one of the others?
@@Charles-7 I was refer to the last. But it the same for practically all entitled people.
@@arikwolf3777 yeah, and obviously these karens don't know nor would care to realized that farmers are like the backbone of our civilization, if they want farmers out of their "luxury picture", everything around them will fall into chaos in a matter of days for sure!
@@Charles-7 Exactly. Also it galls me
that people think farmers are stupid. I like to see a karen run, let alone fix, a tractor.
Story 3, the fact that the siblings are upset the OP drove away without them.. Not what OP said. I think is very telling how low of an opinion everyone who knows this woman has of her.
Story #1 - I'm surprised the family of the lady that died didn't pursue murder charges on Karen for obstructing the EMTs
Hour 1 crew. Gang gang 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
She wanted you to move so ... She blocked you from moving?
Poor old lady that died 😢
fun fact you can not actually stop customers on the way out to look through there bags unless you are actually accusing them of shop lifting. the exception being the warehouse stores like sams or Costco cause you sing that away in a contract. at least in merica
Story 2:
Had I been the manager, I would have personally pulled an all nighter doing inventory count just to be sure losses were minimal and comparatively similar to losses from when loss prevention did meet their quotas.
#3
OP did absolutely nothing wrong. In fact he's one hundred percent right Karma makes bad things happen to bad people
Sometimes these people are hard to imagine.
Lol a buddy of mine worked at sound play ground when they did that to the whole lp department for a part of the region. The first Saturday the store lost 200k of stuff. People walked out with those old school projection tvs.
People licking your boots is NOT respect!
I think the only thing that the brother did wrong is a quate cancer in a bad manner. Other than that, she got what she deserves, no a holes.
Hello Ripe. If youre under the influence it might be best to keep a low profile lol. See you tomorrow
It's honestly hard to see someone suffer from cancer amd other problems just lost my great grandpa to cancer and he had so other bad heath problems
let's list Karen's crimes Fraud, Interfering with Emergency Services, Manslaughter(as a result of said interference), and Aggravated Assault
I haven't been payed for 2 months :( "ye we outsourched the payment, you should call them while they don't have the money"
healthcare worker here. Story 1: every minute counts in a heart attack. so sad to hear the bad outcome for the old woman, she's the true victim here.
I disagree with OP. Ava does deserve that
Yay
Disney attacking her hair is cute.
The cop said that it was trending downwards, but he said that, "It better not go down any further, or else I'm out of a job."
It kind of puts police officers and loss prevention in a no-win scenario. They need the very thing they are trying to get rid of in order to stay employed. If they get rid of it, they don't have a job, because there will be no more need for them. If they don't get rid of it, they get to keep their job, but the problem still persists.
I know a grocery store mgr they could not figure out why their food was disappearing here the security guard was playing on his phone with back towards the door
Your siblings are mad because you didn’t leave with them? 🔥 😂
So you want an ambulance to move - so block the driver from getting in the vehicle....
about the 3rd commenter at 3rd story: this person is based, this person is logical, this person is nice, they are totally right and I support OP and this 3rd commenter
Some times being an a-hole is the appropriate response to shite people - LOL
Not the Asshole, bullying on that level leaves you with serious psychological scares.
Story 3: NTA! Ava and Parents are AH for how they treated you growing up. Ava essentially disowned you from Day One and made your life a living hell. OP does not owe her anything. I will say that OP was TA to the other siblings that Ava also abused. She should have told the siblings, I"m leaving you in or out?
"I don't care about any stupid patient" should net you a dislocated joint so we can test that theory if the Karen is the patient. Also, as always, spell check and Grammarly can *suck it* because a Karen, as a title, becomes a descriptive (and an insulting one) so The Karen, as a Karen, can be The Karen in sentence structure. Y'all got that, Grammarly?
Pet the kitty!
The Quota the Loss Prevention crew needed to meet is so Manglement can Justify the Salaries they pay for the LP Team...They see it as if the LP Team isn't catching [X] number of Thieves each week, then they're obviously slacking off and need to be punished...
Typical short-sighted Middle & Upper Manglement Stupidity in my not-so-humble Opinion...
😄😁😆😅😂🤣
Ya know, the oughta call all the JUST STOP OIL karens and kens.... ffs they do stop EMTS bug trucks Lorries and all manner of traffic, Wonder how many will face jail?

I sorta took the karma comment to mean that his lack of reaction to the cancer announcement to be the karma, not the cancer its self? Idk.
really 10 years for having a patient die in that ambulance? she should've gotten at least 50 for it, also she be taught a hard lesson to NEVER stall an emt's job of saving someone's life.
also I hope that husband of her's gets fired for trying to harbor a fugitive out of prison for whatever reason.
and lastly, if that karen is an anti-vaxxer, then they better shut down her business for getting people more sick then usual, for GOOD!

THE RED CROSS MASTER WHO HAD THE YOUNG EMT GOT IN FRONT OF KAREN AND TRIED TO GET HER MOVED OUT OF THE WAY SHE ENDED UP GOING PRISON
Cancer Story's op had a chance to raise above the sister but sank to her level. Sad
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Story 2 he is not a ahole. Do you know what video that has a story about an entitled neighbor demands that the op let's there kids go play in their yard. And to swim in the op pool.

Karen: Slaps EMT
Police: Tase Karen
Karen: Screams like a wild uncivilized human being and kicks the police officers.
Police: STOP RESISTING! STOP RESISTING! STOP RESISTING!
Deptaved indifference to human life. Thst *could* result in a conviction or Murder 2. 25 to lifw.

Day three of trying to get ripe to reply to my comment for every video until the day I die, for each video.
Also, good video. Only if Karen’s didn’t exist in this world.. that would be a perfect world.
That’ll be a lot of videos 😼
it sure will, but it’s a challenge i’ll take. @@RipeStories

Story 3 nta

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟😁👍
Story 3: she asked them over for lunch... and you still had to bring your own food. Yeah, Ava needs a reality check, and you admittedly /are/ an a-hole, but that's turnabout for you.... your parents are also a-holes for standing by her like she never did anything wrong... but to have you bring your own food when inviting you to lunch is only okay if you have specific dietary preferences or needs you haven't disclosed yet or repeatedly refused to eat what was provided without further explanation... Sadly I've had people as guests that kept pulling those specific stunts myself, so I know it's a possibility.

Story 3: Yes, YTA, but that is fine. Like you told her, Karma hits back, and hard.
Ashely is a girl's name but I know a few guys with it
