I had to come back here today and say I tried to avoid this movie, because of the (apparent) violence, but in the end I had to come and see it so I could sleep - yesterday was a hard day for me due to father related issues. And it was this movie - selected for me to watch by God - that rescued me and gave me the possibility of a brand new day today. What an amazing thing for a movie to accomplish!! Thank you!! And for you, if you're reading this, God is the ultimate Father, and will do everything to make things right, to the point of spoiling you with His tender loving care

@@onecompellingpicture ... i've seen some bigger budget films of mostly a cpl of ppl in a room, or car, or on horseback! i think of "Hawkeye" from mash, in a room, in a conversation with another cpl of ppl. that was after Mash, so you know that he alone was pd a heck of a lot more than $5k! and their conversation was of no value! AND with little dialog! this has more movement, ppl, locations, action, cars.... looks like a bigger budget film than, what---$5,000? incredible. great job. only problem: the sound is not, what's the word i'm looking for... not always the same. sometimes can't hear it.

one thing though--- "jack" said: "God allowed this to happen to get your attention." ? what about the fact that God gave everyone free will to make our own choices? didn't the nikki go willingly after she was TOLD not to? there's the free will choice that put her in this predicament. the guys who are holding her are exercising free will choice. it has always proved true to fact in my life that as long as i am staying close to God He has even warned me about someone else's free choice that would have meant great harm, or maybe even death to me if i hadn't been listening.! & it was my choice to obey that kept me out of a certain kidnapping, certain rape by the 4 drunk men, and probably my death afterwards! but i had kept my car doors locked like i'd heard Him say to do.... it's free will choices, NOT God "allowing" it that brings about most harmful situations. excepting natural disasters, of course. even auto accidents are bcz of someone's wrong moves, choices, decisions... think about it. it's free will choices of the wicked that causes almost all horrific situations. and choices of the Godly that bring about blessed occurrences. don't you find that to be true? even most plane crashes are traced back to human error of some kind! & bcz of God's warning, my uncle didn't take a plane that crashed! he was not yet saved at that time but, God knew he would be later....

The sound goes up and down horribly from too low to hear, to way too loud. I was constantly adjusting the volume up and down. It is also very woofy. Fidelity was awful. The movie itself was good. I stuck it out despite the audio problems.

Hello There @Ohwhatelse! Thanks for you comments, I'd like to point you to a few scriptures; while I do agree we have "Free Will" Psalm 24:1 let's us know that nothing happens unless God allows. NOW understanding that in context, Yes you have the free will do whatever you so choose and you indeed will have to deal the consequences of said actions, however the Father has a plan for our life, so even tho it is our free will, his plan is always to prosper us and not harm us Jeremiah 29:11. In saying such we must understand that because he has a plan for our life; he knew long before we made the decision we made, what that outcome was going to be, so his plan is to take every decision you make and provide you a way of escape 1 Corinthians 10:13. A lot of times that way of escape may seem like it hurt us but we still have to remember that there is no weapon that is formed shall prosper, So while it was your decision God allowed it to happen and he uses that bad decision for your good and not for evil. If God didn't want it happen, no matter how hard you try, roadblocks would popup and cause you to be delayed, have to make other decisions, but at the end of the day you are free to sit and do whatever you choose, but God chastens those he love so be mindful what seems like all hell breaking loose is just God chastening you! Well I think this movie is stupid, I don't mean to be disrespectful,but there was no plot to why they took her and it just seemed like pieces of movie were not there

@@onecompellingpicture well...I happen to believe "the love of Christ" = compassion, and this movie totally lacked compassion!! first when his best friend / partner dies, he's chastised for not talking more to his partner or something weird like that... Then when his wife dies there is absolutely no compassion there, everybody chastises him for some weird stuff..

Thanks for your response, This is exactly why we make movies to create conversation! I'd encourage you to read the book of Job! I believe you will see that God allows us to go through trials and tribulations and he allows the people around us many times to not understand our situation and to still require us to perform like normal human beings, but just like Tracy got his life back when he surrendered totally to God... Job got his life back and more! God offered Job to satan; Job had done NO WRONG! but God asked satan out the blue "Have you considered my servant Job?"!

@@onecompellingpicture Hi again🙂 I didn't say we wouldn't experience trials and tribulations. I wrote Jesus = compassion when we are having our trials and tribulations.
And hopefully the people in our lives are compassionate as Christ was/is! And Tracy didn't get his life back, his wife and friend were dead... He got peace from our beloved Jesus. I have read job maybe you should read the red letters more💖
One of the greatest lies of the Enemy is the lie that God is in control of everything (and therefore either CAUSES everything or else ALLOWS everything). This false religious teaching is NOT backed up by Scripture, yet many cold, dead religious churches proliferate this non-Biblical lie. The Bible is LOADED with instructions for men to CHOOSE to do right, to CHOOSE God, to CHOOSE to not sin --- in fact we are also repeatedly admonished to PRAY for God's Will to be done (because God's Will is NOT automatically done)!!! God is NOT the author of death, evil, pain, suffering, sickness, poverty, loss... the Bible is ABSOLUTELY CRYSTAL CLEAR that Satan is the father of those things, NOT God. Yet preachers and churches don't allow the Bible to get in the way of what they teach --- and so they continue to blame God for evil, falsely accusing Him with their ANTI-Scriptural teaching that says God is in control of everything. It's because of this false teaching that people blame God for all sorts of evil, even leaving the faith because they think God controls everything and everybody. READ YOUR BIBLES, and you will know that Satan is the cause of destruction, pain, poverty, loss, evil, suffering --- and he works through PEOPLE who are in REBELLION against God.
