Hey Billy, looks like you had an epic trip..? I'm just wondering how the LS2 Carbon lid is performing.? Is everything still working I.e the internal sun visor? Did you suffer the same as Richie with it steaming up? I know you'll be biased as you were given the lid but your thoughts would be greatly appreciated 😜
Hi Chopper. Thanks for watching and comments / question! It was super epic! If you can get out there with Ride With Locals, you will definitely have an amazing trip. I would say trip of a lifetime which up until now, for me, it really is. 4 more days to come so stay tuned to the channel. The LS2! Not biased at all as if not a good lid I would not have worn it and whilst LS2 provided it to me, my review was not a paid for review so only honesty you will get from me. It performed very well. Very comfortable for the duration and did not leak (water coming through vents) despite riding all day in rain on one of the days. The internal visor got a little sticky due to the dust build up but this is now fine and moves as intended via the slider to operate it. My only gripe with the helmet is that it does not have specific helmet comms speaker recesses so it really is a pain to try and the positioning of the speaker right. I generally don't wear comms as I ride solo most of the time so its not an issue for me. If you did wear comms unit then it may take a while to get the position right for the speakers and even then due to not having their own recess, can hurt sliding the helmet on and off as your ears slide over the speakers. Overall though a very good helmet from my point of view. Let me know if you have any more questions. Cheers Billy

All good billy I got out yesterday for a we blast as just home I had the first new Honda Africa twin built quality was poor but I do think it’s much better now 👍
