Just finished an OME "heavy" upgrade on the rear of my 2006 LJ. Watching your channel helped. Doing the front tomorrow. Great content. One note I would give you, is get rid of your bad habit of saying "aaahhh". You don't do it all the time, so I think you can get rid of it completely. Good luck! Subscribed.
I used the OME application catalog and installed the recommended springs and shocks for my 06 LJ. Its very stiff and the front was too low. I had to tear down the front end again and add a 1.5" spacer to get the front lift to match the rear. Very disappointed. Im curious to know what Dirk is doing different since there was one set option for an LJ in the ome catalog. They have separate springs and shocks for the TJ and LJ.
Still in the middle of things. all four upper rear shock bolts broke so I am doing a video in the next few days on how to easily remove those... then I can finish the lift install. I am doing the back now, then moving to the front. The body lift and motor mount videos are up... everything goes into this playlist: ua-cam.com/play/PLKivmulOhtZjqNvMgWkCeWh6zltOjPrPI.html
I've been following O3D project TJ (especially the dremel 90 degree attachment hack to remove the rear shock bolts). Did you ever publish a video on the OME lift install? I just got that lift in the mail and would love to see how you did it.
I installed a set on my 06 LJ. I used the OME recommended shocks and they are very stiff. Not sure what Dirk is doing different since theres basically regular load and heavy load options for springs and shocks for the TJ application. OME recommends heavy load sets automatically if you have an LJ. Maybe i should have gone with the TJ regular load shocks?
DPG helped me with my TJ upgrades as well. Very cool to see him featured on your channel
Dirk is good people. I knew as soon as I talked to him on the phone that I was buying my kit from the right place!
Nice. Can't wait to follow the install videos.

Thats the kit I ran on my 2006 Rubicon. That kit was as good as any of the higher end kits I have run on my JK's.

Do you have a video of completing the suspension install? Trying to do one myself and your videos are very helpful
i have a 2000 tj sport, i want 33 inch tires on stock wheels. Does this old man emu kit have everything I need to be lifted and no short cutz
Great. We are doing a old man emu install on a 04 TJ. Do you have a video up of your install?

DPG helped me out on my LJ, they were great. Shipment is in the mail so I wanted to see if you have any install videos?

Oh, also your gas tank remove video save me a ton of time when I replaced my fuel pump.
What do you think of the Nitrocharger Sport shocks? Alot of people have said they are too stiff for light TJs

How much lift does this kit give the tj?
About 2.5 to 3 inches depending on equipment,.. numbers, winches etc
I tried calling the company (DPG offroad) that you suggested several times and having no luck with them answering the phone or returning messages.
