Hi Miriam! Oh, I can't wait! It's going to transform the way the kitchen looks... that's for sure! Hope you have a wonderful rest of the day! 💕
Wow that turned out beautiful!!! I envy ladies that can do all this, wish I could!!
You totally can!! Making the decision to just try and figure things out along the way is how I learned! The more you use the tools, the easier it gets and the more confidence you gain to try bigger projects! You got it! 👍
Wow it really made your kitchen look brighter and bigger =]
Hi Traci! Yes it did! And once we get the rest of the projects done it should lighten and brighten up our kitchen a whole lot! 😍
Omg!!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE how this turned out!!! It opened it up, made it bright and airy and clean. You should feel so accomplished and proud of yourself!!
Lainnie, yesss it did! It's so open and light around the kitchen now! I can't wait to get started on the other projects I have planned... it's going to make a world of difference in there! 💕

Very nice 👌. I wish I could work with power tools. I have a fear of them! I'm sure there's a phobia name for it!😆
Aw, Mimi! Trust me... I know how that is! I was that way for a very long time... But honestly, all it takes is some practice and projects under your belt and you'll build the confidence using them! 💕
Really looks great.
Thank you Carol!! 😊
Looks great! Kitchen even looks larger. Love the color.
So much brighter and more detail! 😍
Great DIY story!!
Thank you 🤗
Looks very nice!!!
Aw, thank you Diane! 😊
I love it. Great job
Thank you!
wonderful! You inspire me.😊
Thank you! 😊
Looks fantastic! We did that and used rustic slightly beat up ship lap boards from an old barn and we painted them a warm grey, has a bit of light brown in the grey. It matched our built in cabinet in the family room and goes with the stained fireplace and shiplap in the family room built in cabinet. Love this look! I Always will love it!
That sounds so cool! I'm getting a lot more confident in building, it's so therapeutic and fun at the same time! 😊
Great job Valerie! I am impressed with your skills! I can't wait to see what you do with the kitchen. It will look awesome!
Thanks Julie!!
That came out so nice, great job. Looking forward to what you’ll be doing to the kitchen cabinets.
We just took the uppers over the island down! It is SO open now! A huge difference, video coming soon! 😁

Wow 🤩 great job! 👏
Thank you Brenda!! 💕
What a great job! I'm new to using the big power tools for jobs like this and just bought a miter and table saw. I can see some great projects in my future! I plan to do shiplap in my kitchen and this video was very helpful. Have you started the cabinets? Would love to see the video.
You will have some amazing projects coming! And yes... I just released the cabinet video! ua-cam.com/video/EyULvUa9PA0/v-deo.html 💗
Have you considered using some lighting for your video? Was your electricity turned off?
Rub a cut lemon dipped in hydrogen peroxide food grade on the coffee stain, it will come up. You might need to let it sit for a few minutes and scrub lightly with the cut lemon dipped in the food grade hydrogen peroxide. Wash off with warm water rag, GQQD Luck 🍀 !
Laura... thanks so much for the tip! I am going to try that and see if I can get the stain out! 💕
Looks so good!!! Totally brightened up the area and now your granite is not competing with the dark cabinets. Love it.
Hi Sheri! I totally agree... and once those cabinets get some lighter color on them it should brighten everything up a lot more! Hope you have a wonderful rest of your day! 💕
Looks so good!!!!!!!
Thank you!
Finally finished my living room did the hallway first a year ago everything came out good 👍
