hell, if you're particularly lazy (like myself), barracks solos easy on most maps, including some of the hard maps, and armored factory solos intermediate on apocalypse and the simple "high" something map (it's a rooftop). just go top path barracks, or bottom path armored. boom, easy thing to do while watching tv or movies. honestly the intermediate isn't "really" worth it, takes ages because of the map size, but it still works. barracks farming easy difficulty on hard maps is probably worth more over time.
replying to myself to add strategy needed for guarnteed success. for the 2 armored factory maps, focus on getting 6 factories first, then 1-2 them all, then 2-2, then 2-3, 2-4, and 2-5. you want them all the same level. for the barracks, only make 2 at first, get both to 4-2 (upgrading them simultaneously), then make the other 5 barracks and get them all to 4-2, then just upgrade to 5-2 as available. Note, not all hard maps, and definitely not all impossible maps, will succeed with the barracks strat. oh, but the armored factory strat does work on another map i've tested. it's "Fort Summit" i believe. the military fort one with a pond in the middle, that the road goes all the way around. hope this helps any other lazy farmers.

just make sure you got enough dps killing the enemies behind the boss...so the freezer will only keep hitting the boss... works 80% of the time for me..

Idk if its clickbait but when i tried this, i ended up dying to the boss cuz he constantly spammed his abilities which prevented the 2-5 Freezers set on strongest from freezing him. Maybe its Just bad rng. I tried switching a few 5-2 shotgunners to 2-5 shotgunners for their unstun ability and it didnt work.
