Kreisberg is one of the most underrated current jazz guitarists. He's really amazing.
This word underrated bothers me so much....how is he underrated if he can go on tours both in us and europe?
@@sheddingaway It doesn't mean he's bad. It means that for the talent and skill level he's at, it's a shame more people don't know about him, relative to other really famous players who he's equally as talented as.
@@andybaldman in the jazz scene he is definitely not "underrated," equally a big name as anyone
If you tour around the world and every jazz guitar on earth knows you then you re def not underated 😊
I don't think he is underrated at all. One of the most popular Jazz guitarists around
Good one. My personal takeaway is work the daylights out of melodic minor diatonic triads, emphasis on horizontal, all positions all keys, and work in different/odd note groupings. And geez that Claire de Lune thing is purty. Cheers Mikko, as always.
thank you great work very helpful ...have good day 👍✌😊
He seems to really like working out of the "D" triad shape across the neck, I've noticed that on a number of his pattern lines
Yes I have also noticed that 🤓
Hands down the best publication on this is Joe Dioros’sl Intervallic Designs published in the 80s. I have the cassette tape but lost the booklet a long time ago. Its mind boggling!
Great book. I studied with Joe a little bit at G.I.T in the early 90s you can probably find that booklet online with some effort
Thanks...you're the best
Very good professor Jonathan kreisberg

? is it a question?
@@Mikkokosmos It is an answer
@@alexandarkumanov4233 sorry to what question. I'm confused
@@Mikkokosmos I`ve just mentioned that this Kreisberg lick is from " Strange resolution"
@@alexandarkumanov4233 Which one? I thought put which tune and where in the solo the lick happens in the notation for all the licks? So I was confused by your comment. Did I make a mistake?
