- My buddy Chris came down from Leicestershire and had a week off to do a road trip, but the weather was not great and found Norfolk is not that easy to explore on foot, so instead we hired a boat for 5 days to explore the Norfolk Broads. Our mission was to explore what each area had to offer, relax, find a pub every day for lunch and a pint, take a walk and rinse and repeat until we covered all of the North Norfolk broads.
We took a 100w solar panel to charge iPad, 2 phones, 2 drone batteries and 3 GoPro batteries and never used the boats electricity.
Thanks for sharing. I spent many happy holidays with my parents and sister cruising the Norfolk Broads in the late 1980s. Your video brought back some lovely memories.
@kathrynfowler8521 Thanks Kathryn. I am glad you enjoyed some nostalgia. 1980s were great weren't they. Simple times
Nice..... Really enjoyed that... Quake quake
Captain Jones!
I know a few broads. They're not from Norfolk though...
I once lived on a boat people say it's very expensive I'm telling you that's a load of rubbish. I'm going back to live on the water again soon it's a great life.
@nickedwards212 It seems a much simpler way of life for sure Nick.
Thank you for taking us along for the ride. Really enjoyed your video. We used to own a Bounty 30 , similar to your boat. We had some really happy years on her.
Thank you Bernadette I appreciate your kind comment and glad you enjoyed coming along for the journey. It was a great boat and had everything we needed. Such a simple life on a boat, I can see why some people choose to live in a boat instead of a house.
@@scottbaileyActivstudios On your trip to Dilham you passed a place , looks a bit like a Roman building with its pillars out the front, I do believe it used to be a Sanitorium for people with TB.
@@bernadettec6386interesting. Was that the one with the Templar cross glass window? Then it does not surprise me. I pointed out that window to Chris and shouted templar! He had no idea ;)
