yeah, you got me inspired bro! I had to build one like this and your video helped a lot! I've made some changes in size, rafters and structure, but in general it was quite the same. I've never worked in this segment, but I wasn't stranger to general job neither... so a tried! In less than 2 months it was finished. 95% of the work done all by myself, and when I say this, people don't believe me. I wanna say thank you! You are surelly helping people around the world! Keep up the good work! For those who are watching, maybe you're thinking you can't do that, but the moment you have no choice, some skills start to show up hahahha. Trust yourself! Really nice video. You showed how to re-use, and use so many wood types, and I saw many ways to use my tools which are different/more useful than I have seen before (and don't require me to buy another tool). Oh, my favorite part is when you are placing your tools inside the storage area...and you include a white pumpkin (gourd). Thank you for taking the time to make this :)

Je projette en ce moment de réaliser une petite annexe et je m'inspire de plusieurs vidéos dont la votre dernièrement. j'ai bien aimé que vous assembliez deux chevrons pour réaliser une poutre car on ne trouve pas forcement les dimensions que l'on souhaite dans les boutiques avec des prix bas. Sur certaines vidéos, les gens sont souvent portés sur le fait d'être dans des normes en suivant un cahier des charges ultra précis , voir contraignant... Le fait que vous vous suspendiez à l'axe de votre poutre est déjà en soit un gage de solidité, on devrait donc soi-même se faire confiance en se renseignant un petit peu, apprendre et se donner le courage de se lancer grâce à des gens comme vous qui partagent leur expérience.
Encore merci pour cette vidéo et ce petit moment de détente pendant la pause au travail, mon café fût encore meilleur ;)

I like the cabin; like the post and beam construction method, BUT screws do not have the sheer strength of nails meaning they are not as strong. I learned that fact the hard way, myself.
thank you. you are right. But I used what I had on hand. this is a recycling project. I used enough screws and nails.

Nice little cabin! You should definetely have insulated stove pipe, at least where you go through the wall. Single wall stove pipe can get red hot if you have much of a fire on, espeially with such a short chimney.

Good draw, would angle it a but. I was surprised at the huge storage vs floor space. But after, saw it was great. Did u later seal underneath (from squirrels etc), and windows must've needed much caulk. The LED rope lighting is great!

We have another house in our garden. There is a bathroom and a kitchen in that house. Right next to my wooden house.
Great project, however your foundation is not attached. Second, the spacers you placed will move and floor will become wavy over time. Keep up the effort as I built a shed out of pallets, but I would do it again.
