Oh god as someone who has driven across an ice bridge doing long haul trucking this gives me anxiety just looking at it, especially considering the foot of ice I was driving over kept my rig out of 300 feet of water. Immaculate job and attention to detail in creating every winter truck drivers nightmare scenario, extremely well done!

honestly, the mess up with the bubbles inside the resin kinda suits this diorama. You'd expect a rig that just crashed through ice would cause some bubbles.

As a truck driver this some scary shit. Your attention to detail is spot on.
A Master Craftsman practicing his craft. Brilliant !!!
Just an astonishing build. So much desperation in the middle of that after putting so much work into the truck, trailer, dozer and weathering just to get to the start. Having worked with epoxies I was more worried about the potential for a large exotherm with such a large mass of epoxy going off. Just an amazing finished result and such a great recovery!
I always watch this video's and admire the dedication to detail, nothing ever feel off, it all looks right.

Never having worked with resin, I can only imagine how frustrating those bubbles could have been, but you can't deny that the end result is still phenomenal.

Used to watch Ice Road Trucker, sometimes the trucks came close to breaking the ice but never saw one that actually did, maybe highly edited for tv. Your depiction shows the horror associated with those roads. Thank you.

Lovely work as always, and well salvaged! Only suggestion I’d have is that for such a dynamic scene (the driver was a nice touch), the water looks remarkably placid - would look great with more turbulence there. Nice one!

Please never scrap one my Grandson of now 9 would love love to have one finished or not. I will pay for it and shipping as long as you sign it for him he would be out of his mind to have a signed piece of your work no matter the size or shape. I'm sure you know a Grandfather will do anything to see their Grandson light up with boundless happiness and joy. This is a child that chose a military museum over Disney world this year. La route des glaces, je ne m'attendais pas à ce diorama, vous vous êtes lancé un gros défi, c'est compliqué de reproduire les effets de la glace qui cède sous un poids mais c'est réussi, le résultat est bluffant. L'idée est originale pour cet attelage et met en valeur le travail de vieillissement fait sur lui, un grand bravo. 👌👍
