The work they put out around 2003 was Limp Bizkit's highest creativity peak, when they managed to perfectly alchemize rap, metal, grunge and melodic music such as this (underrated) masterpiece. Obviously they became truly succesful when they released Chocolate Starfish but, despite how amazing that was, it just wasn't their highest quality product, and songs like this one simply prove it. You can definitely hear a different Fred: wiser, wounded, yet poetic and heart touching. Thank you for giving this song new life with such a pure quality audio! ❤
While I don't think it was their creative peak, I think it's a really brave album in how it's so different from its *extremely* successful predecessor. I often think about what the record would have sounded like with Wes on board. Can you imagine an entire LB album with the aggression of Chocolate Starfish and the introspective, serious lyrics of Results May Vary?
Rediscovered this song. Just had to put my dog down. My sweet, baby boy. My best friend of the last 12 years. Can't stop playing this fuckin song. Emotions come flooding every damn time. Gettin all nostalgic.
Would love to see LB coming back to songs like this one. A new results may vary Album would be great. I want to know what Fred and the band think about this.
That's a great question, sad that they didn't make an official release of RMV2! Their last album wasn't great, I haven’t listened to it since release. I really enjoy RMV too, I tracked down a really nice vinyl copy of it a while ago which is really rare to find.
@@edwardlindell7056 I would love to have a vinyl of it, too. And I agree with you. The last album wasn't that good, I'm finding myself not often listening to it, too.
I've never waited so long I'm not expecting a thing Something tells me you'll come back to me I spend my winters alone It gets so cold when you're gone Something tells me you'll come back to me But sometimes when it rains There's no time to do it again The real me wants to savor it all In my memory yeah! I know I made you afraid I've been wounded too long Something tells me you'll come back to me And I got nothing to show I'm sitting here all alone Something tells me you'll come back to me But sometimes when it rains There's no time to do it again The real me wants to savor it all In my memory yeah! Just know that I'll always respect you And I'm missing them lost summer days But maybe it's better if I left you A memory far far away It's everything that I breath it's everything that I need Something tells me you'll come back to me It's everywhere that I go it's everyone that I know Something tells me you'll come back to me But sometimes when it rains There's no time to do it again The real me wants to savor it all In my memory But sometimes when it rains There's no time to do it again The real me wants to savor it all In my memory yeah! x5

@@johnzackarias11 Couldn't agree more! It would've been their peak without any doubt. The only thing missing in RMV is Borland's riffs. 🤘🏻

such a relaxing song, has a nostalgic feeling to it probably cause of how it sounds instrumentally and its such an under rated gem
This is just my type of song... thanks for your uploads dude
That's a need for speed underground Sound for the car settings
Great track! Thanks for uploading
Still one of my all-time fave songs :)
My favorite trip-hop song
One of the best LB bsides they've made.
Amazing. Could you do the same with all the RMV B-Sides? Especially Fool's Game and Poison Ivy.

This is fire ❤❤❤
It was recently discovered that Britney Spears’ recorded this song for her in the zone album but it was left unreleased.
I love ❤ Brittany but no one can sing this song Better than Fred Durst. FRED Sung this song with Soul....
That would be cool to hear the demo should it ever see the light of day.
Chill as fuck
I've never waited so long
I'm not expecting a thing
Something tells me you'll come back to me
I spend my winters alone
It gets so cold when you're gone
Something tells me you'll come back to me
But sometimes when it rains
There's no time to do it again
The real me wants to savor it all
In my memory yeah!
I know I made you afraid
I've been wounded too long
Something tells me you'll come back to me
And I got nothing to show
I'm sitting here all alone
Something tells me you'll come back to me
But sometimes when it rains
There's no time to do it again
The real me wants to savor it all
In my memory yeah!
Just know that I'll always respect you
And I'm missing them lost summer days
But maybe it's better if I left you
A memory far far away
It's everything that I breath it's everything that I need
Something tells me you'll come back to me
It's everywhere that I go it's everyone that I know
Something tells me you'll come back to me
But sometimes when it rains
There's no time to do it again
The real me wants to savor it all
In my memory
But sometimes when it rains
There's no time to do it again
The real me wants to savor it all
In my memory yeah! x5
