Naam peh chalta hai college to be very honest. Being an alumnus of this college if you don't maintain good coordination between your teacher and lab assistants then you are simply nowhere. You will just get average marks from them as it's an autonomous college. Don't even think of doing Mechanical Engg.
I got cse back in 2017 heritage.when I entered the campus I remembered one of the statement of my friend he said "If you enter a college and from entry gate if u can see the end gate,that is the end of ur career not college". I tore the demand draft n cancelled my admission.later I got ju in spot round... please leave this college n drop out to give another chance for ju...if you won't do n end up at TCS saltlake.. remember someone commented this..
Jadavpur University lowest branch better than cse of both... Skip engineering if u have to do it from heritage or haldia... Kya hi fayda hoga agar cost of education nikalne k liye 10 years of working lag jaaye..
If under 3k-5k (if general)then you can go for lower branches of JU, CU or IEM CSE(Specialization)/IT, HITK CSE..... If above rank 5k(general), then opt this college..you can get IT, CSE(Specialization), ECE easily in this College... If rank more than 7k-8k..then you can opt Other Core branches in this college or IEM and prepare whole heartedly for gate examination(as you know the condition of core sector in private colleges)..or You can opt the colleges through other exams like COMEDK... Note:- If you didn't score well, and want non core branch such as CSE/IT, then go for other colleges below HITK At last my suggestion would be Target only JU or CU Hope this helps✌️

Take batch drop from this private college and give another attempt.. You might get Jadavpur University. 4-5 buildings equals campus that's it..no college life...20 heritage can accommodate in Jadavpur University...m not disheartening you guys but giving suggestion to save your money n future too.
