what was also beautiful about this movie is how its a closure for everything Eva, not just the previous movies/rebuild but also the original series itself. Or at least I saw that way. So many references. How Anno meta transitioned from ending the story to ending the this entire journey was... oh man the second ONE LAST KISS plays it fucking hits hard.
Just watched the movie earlier. This movie made me smile me so much when I saw Shinji starting to confront his problems rather than run away from them. He truly grew up and the movie gave a very satisfying ending, and this song was just icing on the cake. Thank you Hideako Anno for leading us on a fantastic 26 year journey.
Hearing him speak as an adult is, I think, the best possible ending for the franchise. I thought rebuild was just a cash grab at first. Then I was worried they'd damage the original. No worries anymore.
Shinji Def had a good ending and development along with Rei in the beginning. However, it felt like Asuka was left behind. We never learned anything that we don't already know and seeing her development/happiness left to interpretation was disappointing while we got to see it with the other characters. edit: thought about it more. I actually take back some things. Shinji had a good ending but his happy endingg was almost handed to him. It didn't feel deserved. Also, naratively, he ran away from the real world in the end ironically even though Anno was trying to convey the opposite. As a character, thats what shinji did.

I was happy seeing shinji face his problems, it’s like hideki finally showing that he has gotten better and faced his problems just like shinji was. And it works out for the better. Evangelion is awesome
I never thought I'll ever see Shinji genuinely smiling at the end, even to the point of being flirty. He finally grows up and realised that as much as he caused unintentional collateral damage to others while being EVA pilot, he also brought happiness to the few he managed to protect. He should be proud of what he had achieved as Eva Pilot and in the end he gave mankind the best gift of all by erasing all Evangelion and giving everyone the peaceful life that they deserve.
It was the catharsis we needed after all the hurt. Seeing everyone happy and healthy was such a good way to end things. While part of me wants them t o showcase life after Evangelion, not having that continuation is just as good because the possibilities are endless for the characters.
Finally everything came together, all our characters grew up and got closure... Damn finishing this feels like my childhood ending all over again. I cried like a little bitch at the end credits.

I was really scared going into the movie, since we've had many series with an unsatisfying closure and even tho eva is just 26 episodes and 5 movies it has one of the deepest plots in anime history, I didnt think Anno would be able to do a wrap up of all the plot points left open in eva 3.33 and also we knew that this series is not known for happy moments so then seeing this ending so perfect and so happy was really amazing, realizing all of our characters have been freed from such despair was truly satisfying and the perfect ending for evangelion.
This only made a deeper hole in my heart after watching the true End of Evangelion, thanks for the journey Hideaki Anno. Amazing video and beautiful song.
I just finished the movie and after all those years where NGE has been a part of my life it just hits different. If i had to explain it would sound like this: "Today I saw a friend of mine move forward. In order to do so he had to leave my side. At most i feel proud, proud to see him change and move forward to something beautiful, but at the same moment it breaks my heart and I feel like bursting out in tears any second, cause i lost someone who had been there all the time and won't come back anymore." I know the movies, the manga and co won't go away, but there won't be another NGE movie with all it's up and downs i'll be looking forward to. I'm glad I made it to the end - Thanks NGE.

eres libre de leer lo siguiente: Nota: No pretendo contar toda la peli, sólo dar datos relevantes de los personajes y del final de la peli... 1-Touji y Kensuke (adultos) son personajes relevantes en la historia y ayudan en su depresión a Shinji, Touji es médico, tiene familia con Hikari y tiene una hija, Kensuke es quien rescata al trio. 2-La primera parte de la peli es en el pueblo donde viven Touji y Kensuke y rescatan a Shinji, Rei y Azuka y les demuestran cómo los pocos humanos sobreviven en este despojo de mundo. 3-Se revela que Rei Q es el clon número 6, ella durante el primer acto aprende a vivir con humano en el pueblo y al final muere ya que al ser un clon no tenia acceso al LCL, Shinji la bautiza como Ayanami y esta al morir le devuelve el walkman. 4-Kaji si murió en el tercer impacto cercano causado por Shinji, Misato y él tuvieron un hijo que se llama igual a su padre, durante un momento en la peli éste conoce a Shinji. 5-Misato se sacrifica para salvar a Shinji haciendo una alusión a The End of Evangelion, recibe un disparo de la hermana de Touji que pretendía matar a Shinji para que no subiera al Eva 1 6-Se revela que Mari fue estudiante de Fuyutsuki este se refería a ella como María Iscariote, Mari conoció a Gendo y a Yui ; ella es la única que sabe el plan completo de Gendo y el plan secreto de Yui, no queda claro cómo es que ella tiene apariencia joven ya que en un momento de la peli se le ve en su forma adulta, misma que se ve vuelve a ver al final de la peli. 7-Varias escenas del trailer no aparecen en la pelicula o están modificados, el avance de 3.333 no tiene ningún sentido aparente. 8-Se nos revela que Azuka Shikinami es un clon al igual que Rei, se explica que los Shikinami son la siguiente generación de clones mejorados con base a los de la serie Ayanami , no se explica en qué momento este clon se integra en las pelis de Rebuild, la niña que aparece en el trailer es la Azuka con su apariencia original y se ve que existen muchos clones pero sólo ella logró sobrevivir, también se nos revela que el alma de la Azuka original está dentro del Mark 13 abriendo un misterio de cómo llego su alma ahí y dan a entender que la Azuka original se llamaba Langley como la de la serie original, como dato adicional ella también es un ángel, durante el combate de ella en el Eva 2 contra el Mark 13 ella se arranca el parche y nos deja ver que ella es mitad ángel despertando una nueva forma su alma fusionada con el Eva 2 (muy espectacular que parece un angel en el sentido de la palabra) pero ...ella pierde la batalla debido a que no puedo destruir al Mark 13 ya que su "alma" original estaba en él y termina fusionándose con el Mark 13 9-Gendo ya no es humano ya que insertó en su cuerpo la llave de Nabukodonosor haciendo alusión a The end of Evangelion, su plan fue volverse un dios para crear un mundo donde el viviera con Yui, su mayor miedo es su hijo Shinji ya que le recuerda a sí mismo, en un flash back se ve la vida de Gendo y al final de la peli durante la instrumentalización humana, él es el que esta en el tren (alusion a la mente de Gendo, tal cómo le ocurrió a Shinji en la serie original) y este al platicar con Shinji se da cuenta de que se odiaba así mismo y sede el mando de la instrumentalización a su hijo Shinji. 10-Rei Ayanami (Alma de Lilith) estuvo todo este tiempo en el Eva 1 , se da a entender que se unió al alma de Yui, ya que actua de forma diferente y queda claro que sabe que Shinji es su hijo, como dato curioso ella aparece con un cabello estremadamente largo y se ve más adulta, se revela que el plan de Yui fue hacer ver a Gendo la realidad del mundo y que el se perdonara así mismo... 11-El Eva 1 (fusionado con Shinji y en su interior tiene el alma de Rei/ Yui) lucha contra el Mark 13 (fusionado con Gendo y el alma de Azuka / Azuka Original) en la batalla final 12-Se revela que Kaworu ha estado presente en todos y cada uno de los reinicios de Evangelion ( se confirma la teoría del loop) , lo cofres en la luna son las veces que ha despertado en cada reinicio, con cada nuevo reinicio tiene recuerdos parciales de su "yo" anterior, no se explica cómo SEELE no puede ver los cofres ni sabía de su existencia...el Kaworu que detiene el tercer impacto cercano (al final de 2.2) murió por razones que no se explican, por eso el Kaworu de 3.33 desconoce muchas cosas y pareciera que trata diferente a Shinji...al final logra tener un final feliz ..ya que su destino era ver cada reinicio y morir en cada uno de esos reinicios 13-Al final de la peli Shinji dirige la intrumentalización humana y decide crear un mundo sin angeles ni evas...haciendo una clara alusión al final del manga... dando punto y final a los reinicios y a la saga de Evangelion de forma definitiva. 14- Al final Shinji (adulto) se queda con Mari ( adulta), Kaworu y Rei en su forma adulta comparten una escena juntos al final...Azuka y Kensuke quedan como "pareja" ya que Kensuke le demostró afecto sincero a Azuka y ésta corresponde a su afecto...no queda claro del todo. 15-En una parte de la peli Azuka y Shinji se confiesan sus sentimientos el uno por el otro, pero ambos se dan cuenta que sus personalidades no son compatibles terminando con el debate si ellos quedarían juntos... no quedaron juntos... 16-En una escena se hace alusión al final de The end of Evangelion en la playa, solo que esta vez es Mari la que interactúa con Shinji en lugar de Azuka. 17-Shinji hace alusión al titulo original de la serie "Neon Genesis" ya que de esta manera llama al nuevo mundo sin evas ni angeles...el cual es nuestro mundo ...el mundo real. 18- No hay escena postcrédito es un final definitivo
Fun fact: Mari es mayor, hay un manga spin off de mari que lanzaron muy escondido claro, en este se explica que mari era compañera de yui y gendo (por eso usa el gendo-KUN que es el honorario japones para llamar a alguien menor o igual a tu edad) fue una de las primeras pilotos (luego de yui que es la primera) por ende sabe la creación de los evas, sus comandos (como el modo bestia que es uno que solo conocen los que desarollaron los evas ya que no es para uso de los pilotos) y demas, dejando que por eso, aunque haya estado ausente, desde hace un tiempo se hizo enfasis en ella en el manga, y detras de escena, trabajo en sedes de nerv de europa mucho tiempo antes de llegar a caerle del cielo literalmente a shinji, y que su cuerpo de una joven (rondando los 16-20) es por el liquido lcl, por ende, para 3.0 + 1.0 ella tendria casi 28-34 años al momento de despertar a shinji por haber pasado 14 años desde la otra pelicula (o si me confundi con la 2.2 perdon, ya es que hasta los numeros no recuerdo)

ブルーレイの予約が開始しましたね。私は今から楽しみです。一番注目されているのは特典映像ではないでしょうか。個人的にはサクラがアスカ、ミサト、飲尿ピンクと何を話し、シンジを手に入れようとしたのかに注目しています。これまでは力尽くで一人ずつ潰していったと思っていたのですが実際はどうなのか、気になりますね。本当はサクラの恋の始まりなども描いてほしいのですが、それは新作に期待しようと思います

I never thought I'll ever see Shinji genuinely smiling at the end, even to the point of being flirty. He finally grows up and realised that as much as he caused unintentional collateral damage to others while being EVA pilot, he also brought happiness to the few he managed to protect. He should be proud of what he had achieved as Eva Pilot and in the end he gave mankind the best gift of all by erasing all Evangelion and giving everyone the peaceful life that they deserve.
It was the catharsis we needed after all the hurt. Seeing everyone happy and healthy was such a good way to end things. While part of me wants them t o showcase life after Evangelion, not having that continuation is just as good because the possibilities are endless for the characters.
Finally everything came together, all our characters grew up and got closure... Damn finishing this feels like my childhood ending all over again. I cried like a little bitch at the end credits.

明日試験なのでこれ聞いて寝ます。自分だけのシンジくんになります。…逃げるわけには、もういかない。

この曲が素晴らしいのは言うまでもないです。
その上でエヴァの話になりますが…
自分はちょうどシンジくんと同い年の14歳の時にエヴァを観ました。友達に借りたDVDでした。アニメ版のラストも、旧劇場版のラストも、よくわからないままなんとなく、そういうものなのかなと受け入れていました。
そこから時間が経ち、自分の環境もどんどん変わりましたが、そんな中でも何度もTSUTAYAでアニメや旧劇場版を借りました。ネットで考察を読みました。漫画版も揃えました。新劇場版を追いかける中で、いつの間にか自分が29歳になっていて、ミサトさんやリツコさんや加持さんと同い年なのだと気付いたとき、自分はあんなに大人になれていないな、いつかはあんな風になれるのだろうかと、違和感を拭えなかった感覚が印象的で忘れられません。
そして来る32歳のとき、やっと完結するということで、劇場でシンエヴァンゲリオンを観ました。
内容については差し控えますが、アニメ版から観ていた中で分からなかったり引っ掛かったりして消化できずに刺さっていた幾つもの長い針を、一本ずつ丁寧に抜かれていくような感覚でした。
激動の展開からの待ち望んでいた「完結」、アニメ作画が暗転して流れてきたこの曲。
14歳から32歳までの自分の人生が、その中でいつも何らかの形でそばにあったエヴァを伴って、スタッフロールと共に自分の18年間の走馬灯として頭の中に流れ込んできました。それは決して穏やかな川の流れのようなものではなく、まるでクロスボウの連射を受けて閃光激しく終わらない激痛に悶えているような、それでいて終わって欲しくないとねだりたくなる至上の恍惚であるような、それはそれは不思議な感覚でありました。あの時の感覚に、私は未だに名前を付けることができません。
同じ劇場内の人たち、同じように劇場でご覧になったどこかの沢山の人たちの中にも、似たような経験をされた方がいらっしゃるかもしれません。
そこからのbeautiful worldは圧巻でした。
「序」公開は2007年、宇多田ヒカルさんは大好きでしたが、エヴァに合うのかな？と疑念を抱いていました。そんな疑念も忘れるほど美しい作画に圧倒されたこと、元々ファンだった宇多田ヒカルさんの歌声がエヴァの世界観にマッチしすぎていることに感動した瞬間のことが懐かしく思い出されます。
当時自分は19歳、どんな人生を送るか分からない不安と期待に溢れた頃でした。
そんな十代の繊細な感情も思い出させてくれた、最初から最後まで最高のエンディングでした。
そして今、34歳となりましたが、どうしようもなく落ち込みそうなときにはこの二曲を聴いて元気をもらっています。
エヴァは終わりましたが、宇多田ヒカルさんはこれからもずっとご活躍されることでしょう。
いつまでもファンとして応援して行きます。
宇多田ヒカルさん、エヴァンゲリオン、本当に本当にありがとう。

@ああ 最後のシーンで表したかったのはシンジくんやエヴァのキャラクター、視聴者たちの「エヴァからの解放」と多くの考察で言われています。カヲル君はアダム、レイはリリスですが作中ではこの二つの存在は触れ合ってはいけない（インパクトが起きるため）と言われてきました。駅で最後2人が楽しそうに？話しているのは「エヴァからの解放」が果たされた
という表現だと一部の考察で言われています
また、カヲルはゲンドウの息子への愛を与える存在的な？ヒカリゲンドウで、レイはユイの
クローンであることからゲンドウとユイも
なんらかの形で解放されてるという
表現だとも言われています。
映画でもらえる本にカヲルとレイが夫婦として歩いていてその間に赤ちゃんシンジ君がいる
描写がありますがあれは、作製陣が書いた

なんかシン は誰が見ても上手く着地するように作られてたような気がする。旧劇から見てる人も、新劇から見始めた人も、アスカが好きな人も、綾波が好きな人も。誰が見ても、このエヴァンゲリオンと言う作品を締めくくれるように造られてて本当に凄いと思った。この映画が劇場で見れる事も当分ないと思ったら、また映画館に見に行きたいなってしまう。

I was really scared going into the movie, since we've had many series with an unsatisfying closure and even tho eva is just 26 episodes and 5 movies it has one of the deepest plots in anime history, I didnt think Anno would be able to do a wrap up of all the plot points left open in eva 3.33 and also we knew that this series is not known for happy moments so then seeing this ending so perfect and so happy was really amazing, realizing all of our characters have been freed from such despair was truly satisfying and the perfect ending for evangelion.

わたしは今高校生なのですが、まわりにエヴァ好きのともだちが1人もいません。なので、エヴァが好きだと言うと引かれてしまうのではと思い、ひたすら隠しています。もっとわたしの世代にもエヴァが広まってほしい。そう願うばかりです。
また、わたしのいちばん好きなキャラクターは赤木リツコ博士です。これもエヴァ好きなともだちが少ないのと一緒で珍しいですよね、、自分の意見を押しつけるつもりはありませんが、リツコのファンも増えてほしいです。ほんとに好きなんです、、リツコさん好きじゃないな~って言う方もたくさんいるとは思いますが、違った視点から見てみれば考え方も変わるかもしれません。わたしはそう思います。

自分も今高3ですけどエヴァが1番好きですよ。
おそらく今の若い人達からするとエヴァンゲリオンは"昔から続いてるアニメ"というイメージが強いから見る気がしないんだと思います。わかりやすく言うと今からワンピースを一から追っかける感じ。あとすごく難しい話なんじゃないかと思ってると思います。
自分も最初はそうでした。まあ実際今も完全にエヴァンゲリオンを理解できてないし難しいですけど。
でも何回みてもおもしろいですよね。
1回目は軽い気持ちで見て、2回目は出てくる用語を理解してから見てその後考察見たりして、また見る。
庵野監督の脳を覗いてみたくなるような奥が深くて素晴らしい作品だと思います。
自信を持ってエヴァが好きだと言っちゃいましょう。
僕は他人にエヴァを見ろ。と強制はしませんが見てないのは損しているとひっそり思っています😂

I just finished the movie and after all those years where NGE has been a part of my life it just hits different. If i had to explain it would sound like this: "Today I saw a friend of mine move forward. In order to do so he had to leave my side. At most i feel proud, proud to see him change and move forward to something beautiful, but at the same moment it breaks my heart and I feel like bursting out in tears any second, cause i lost someone who had been there all the time and won't come back anymore." I know the movies, the manga and co won't go away, but there won't be another NGE movie with all it's up and downs i'll be looking forward to. I'm glad I made it to the end - Thanks NGE.

エヴァンゲリオンがテレビで始まった時、自分は小学5年生でした。当時の自分には衝撃的な作品で、アニメの認識を変えさせてくれた作品でした。ある意味エヴァが無かったら今の自分はいなかったかもしれません。エヴァンゲリオンを作ってくれて本当にありがとうございました。

eres libre de leer lo siguiente:
Nota: No pretendo contar toda la peli, sólo dar datos relevantes de los personajes y del final de la peli...
1-Touji y Kensuke (adultos) son personajes relevantes en la historia y ayudan en su depresión a Shinji, Touji es médico, tiene familia con Hikari y tiene una hija, Kensuke es quien rescata al trio.
2-La primera parte de la peli es en el pueblo donde viven Touji y Kensuke y rescatan a Shinji, Rei y Azuka y les demuestran cómo los pocos humanos sobreviven en este despojo de mundo.
3-Se revela que Rei Q es el clon número 6, ella durante el primer acto aprende a vivir con humano en el pueblo y al final muere ya que al ser un clon no tenia acceso al LCL, Shinji la bautiza como Ayanami y esta al morir le devuelve el walkman.
4-Kaji si murió en el tercer impacto cercano causado por Shinji, Misato y él tuvieron un hijo que se llama igual a su padre, durante un momento en la peli éste conoce a Shinji.
5-Misato se sacrifica para salvar a Shinji haciendo una alusión a The End of Evangelion, recibe un disparo de la hermana de Touji que pretendía matar a Shinji para que no subiera al Eva 1
6-Se revela que Mari fue estudiante de Fuyutsuki este se refería a ella como María Iscariote, Mari conoció a Gendo y a Yui ; ella es la única que sabe el plan completo de Gendo y el plan secreto de Yui, no queda claro cómo es que ella tiene apariencia joven ya que en un momento de la peli se le ve en su forma adulta, misma que se ve vuelve a ver al final de la peli.
7-Varias escenas del trailer no aparecen en la pelicula o están modificados, el avance de 3.333 no tiene ningún sentido aparente.
8-Se nos revela que Azuka Shikinami es un clon al igual que Rei, se explica que los Shikinami son la siguiente generación de clones mejorados con base a los de la serie Ayanami , no se explica en qué momento este clon se integra en las pelis de Rebuild, la niña que aparece en el trailer es la Azuka con su apariencia original y se ve que existen muchos clones pero sólo ella logró sobrevivir, también se nos revela que el alma de la Azuka original está dentro del Mark 13 abriendo un misterio de cómo llego su alma ahí y dan a entender que la Azuka original se llamaba Langley como la de la serie original, como dato adicional ella también es un ángel, durante el combate de ella en el Eva 2 contra el Mark 13 ella se arranca el parche y nos deja ver que ella es mitad ángel despertando una nueva forma su alma fusionada con el Eva 2 (muy espectacular que parece un angel en el sentido de la palabra) pero ...ella pierde la batalla debido a que no puedo destruir al Mark 13 ya que su "alma" original estaba en él y termina fusionándose con el Mark 13
9-Gendo ya no es humano ya que insertó en su cuerpo la llave de Nabukodonosor haciendo alusión a The end of Evangelion, su plan fue volverse un dios para crear un mundo donde el viviera con Yui, su mayor miedo es su hijo Shinji ya que le recuerda a sí mismo, en un flash back se ve la vida de Gendo y al final de la peli durante la instrumentalización humana, él es el que esta en el tren (alusion a la mente de Gendo, tal cómo le ocurrió a Shinji en la serie original) y este al platicar con Shinji se da cuenta de que se odiaba así mismo y sede el mando de la instrumentalización a su hijo Shinji.
10-Rei Ayanami (Alma de Lilith) estuvo todo este tiempo en el Eva 1 , se da a entender que se unió al alma de Yui, ya que actua de forma diferente y queda claro que sabe que Shinji es su hijo, como dato curioso ella aparece con un cabello estremadamente largo y se ve más adulta, se revela que el plan de Yui fue hacer ver a Gendo la realidad del mundo y que el se perdonara así mismo...
11-El Eva 1 (fusionado con Shinji y en su interior tiene el alma de Rei/ Yui) lucha contra el Mark 13 (fusionado con Gendo y el alma de Azuka / Azuka Original) en la batalla final
12-Se revela que Kaworu ha estado presente en todos y cada uno de los reinicios de Evangelion ( se confirma la teoría del loop) , lo cofres en la luna son las veces que ha despertado en cada reinicio, con cada nuevo reinicio tiene recuerdos parciales de su "yo" anterior, no se explica cómo SEELE no puede ver los cofres ni sabía de su existencia...el Kaworu que detiene el tercer impacto cercano (al final de 2.2) murió por razones que no se explican, por eso el Kaworu de 3.33 desconoce muchas cosas y pareciera que trata diferente a Shinji...al final logra tener un final feliz ..ya que su destino era ver cada reinicio y morir en cada uno de esos reinicios
13-Al final de la peli Shinji dirige la intrumentalización humana y decide crear un mundo sin angeles ni evas...haciendo una clara alusión al final del manga... dando punto y final a los reinicios y a la saga de Evangelion de forma definitiva.
14- Al final Shinji (adulto) se queda con Mari ( adulta), Kaworu y Rei en su forma adulta comparten una escena juntos al final...Azuka y Kensuke quedan como "pareja" ya que Kensuke le demostró afecto sincero a Azuka y ésta corresponde a su afecto...no queda claro del todo.
15-En una parte de la peli Azuka y Shinji se confiesan sus sentimientos el uno por el otro, pero ambos se dan cuenta que sus personalidades no son compatibles terminando con el debate si ellos quedarían juntos... no quedaron juntos...
16-En una escena se hace alusión al final de The end of Evangelion en la playa, solo que esta vez es Mari la que interactúa con Shinji en lugar de Azuka.
17-Shinji hace alusión al titulo original de la serie "Neon Genesis" ya que de esta manera llama al nuevo mundo sin evas ni angeles...el cual es nuestro mundo ...el mundo real.
18- No hay escena postcrédito es un final definitivo
Fun fact: Mari es mayor, hay un manga spin off de mari que lanzaron muy escondido claro, en este se explica que mari era compañera de yui y gendo (por eso usa el gendo-KUN que es el honorario japones para llamar a alguien menor o igual a tu edad) fue una de las primeras pilotos (luego de yui que es la primera) por ende sabe la creación de los evas, sus comandos (como el modo bestia que es uno que solo conocen los que desarollaron los evas ya que no es para uso de los pilotos) y demas, dejando que por eso, aunque haya estado ausente, desde hace un tiempo se hizo enfasis en ella en el manga, y detras de escena, trabajo en sedes de nerv de europa mucho tiempo antes de llegar a caerle del cielo literalmente a shinji, y que su cuerpo de una joven (rondando los 16-20) es por el liquido lcl, por ende, para 3.0 + 1.0 ella tendria casi 28-34 años al momento de despertar a shinji por haber pasado 14 años desde la otra pelicula (o si me confundi con la 2.2 perdon, ya es que hasta los numeros no recuerdo)

lol even after being late to the party I really loved this show, its was very confusing to digest all at once but once i started to understand it I really loved the message. this will leave an aftertaste in me like no other anime.
