Remap your L1 And R1 through the ps4 button assignment located in the settings.you can just make L1 and r1 circle and square and than make the back paddles those buttons

Novice an EMR makes it easier and it’s only an extra $15 which when you’re spending $200+ on a controller you might as well get everything yoi can
The off-center jack is set that way because the controller started as a base Dualshock 4 and the jack is slightly to the right.

Does the wireless controller have a millisecond delay? I recently played with a wired controller and it had no delay.

Do you need that emr magnet to assigns your paddles? I was going to buy an already made scuf impact and was wondering how I assign my buttons to the paddles in the back. Instead of buying a customized controller.
They come pre programmed. But if you buy a prebuilt controller they usually come with the EMR.

Tomas Villegas that’s interesting, I have owned 2, a vantage, which is a broke controller in general, and I chanced again with an impact. The impact broke just as fast, both analog sticks w terrible drift, the left one barely working. I just use a strike pack FPS
My impact is now a year old and 2 of 4 padles are not working properly anymore (3h/day) + changed the sticks one time and trigger stop broke if it falls it wont take it as good as the original controllers
I’ve owned my impact for 9 months, and it’s working perfectly fine.
R1 button also stucks alot, its all about the hours you use it

When you buy your scuf controller you have to click on electro magnetic key so you can change the back paddles to your choice.
Honor If you buy the electro magnetic key u stick it on the back of the controller and you can change anyone of the back paddles to one of the controllers face buttons
It works with any magnet, scuf just sells fancy ones, I’ve used a fridge magnet

I got the impact about a year ago then while I was playing some games as I was moving it started to move randomly so in less than 3 months it just ended up braking so I didn’t want to buy a new controller so I switched back to xbox but now I’m back on ps4 and I’m ordering a new scuf impact now

Buggzy there is this company like scuf which is called battle beaver. It is really good and last a lot longer than a scuf would. Instead of paddles it has buttons

You had to order it with your controller. You can use a magnet I believe.

Can anhywon help me I just got an impact but how do I configure it whit my PS4 if I press the PS4 button it lights up and it goes back to the charging color (orange)
You need to plug your charger into the controller and then press your ps button and it should turn on :)
U skipped the entire connecting to ps4 set up ? Which we know is not included in the box and no instructions
Ine would think that an unboxing would include a set up part of the video
You set it up like any other DualShock. Plug it in and press the power button. That's it.

Holding up fine.
I've bought 3 $200+ scufs and all 3 broken within 5 months. First thing I notice is stick drift gets worse. Second is the back paddles don't work. Third is the trigger hair tool can't connect with controller to turn the little plastic part to have trigger hair. I've spent about $700 on the scuf brand in just over a year. Love the controller, but they are unreliable.
That sucks. Sorry that has happened to you. Both my controllers are still working great with no issue.

Had an impact for 3 months and my right paddle doesn’t respond 50% of the time...
Mine works fine still. I'd contact their support.
I have had to send mine back 3 times in the last 4 months as my paddles, analog sticks and d pad keeps becoming unresponsive and when they receive my controller they say there's nothing wrong with it..they change the motherboard and send it back broken again lol

This has to be one of the most frustrating companies I’ve ever dealt with. They require you to call them or email them to even get your controller shipped. Mine was ordered on the 25th and not shipped until I called them about it when the controller didn’t show up on my birthday. Mind you, it still hasn’t shown up and it’s been a month since I ordered the controller. Yes, they took my money 30 days ago and I’ve yet to receive anything. On top of this screw up, it’s not the first. I bought my first controller from them when they first came out in 2016. Same exact issue. Never thought they would still be around treating customers like this. The controller broke after 2 months of continued use. Forgot about it for a few years and now getting back into gaming it was my dumb decision to go through them for an aftermarket controller. Their customer service is terrible. It’s a bunch of kids that would rather be spending your money than worKing. Don’t buy from ScufGaming if you value your time, and money. BECAUSE they obviously don’t.
They shipped both of my controllers to me within two weeks. It's a shame you had this experience twice.

Had mine delivered today and after about an hour of usage the trigger stop fell back into the trigger mechanism making the left trigger unresponsive and the whole controller basically useless. $220 piece of shit.

Mike W dont get a scuf.. they break soo easily and their customer care service is awful.. just get yourself a nacon unlimited which is a licensed controller by playstation and its miles better than the scuf
