Yes! I've been waiting for this! So fun to listen to you guys. Love the texts you put in for Gerrcins thoughts :). This is awesome entertainment, gave me some good laughs :). Sad that the campaign is only two weeks! I am kinda tempted to join in. Cheers!
this game looks amazing! wont be able to get this pledge as things are tight this month(N) Love how Az and Leo market the games over at mythic tho. They are a great duo to have with pushing games out with the excitement they bring to the table.
Another smashing play-through and what looks like an interesting scenario. A couple of thoughts... (SPOILERS!) - The initial round revealed 4 activations and it was noted the remaining four rounds would grant 3 activations. I'd like to see more activation cube variability during turns. Instead of 4x 3 activations and 1x 4 what about 1x 2, 2x 3s and 2x 4s. - Five rounds didn't feel long enough! A lot happened in those rounds, people were sacrificed, trees were set alight, the pagan God appeared and a desperate skirmish followed but everything happened so fast. Perhaps six turns would have allowed more strategic movement of other units, more trees being set alight etc. If activations need to be limited perhaps add a single 2x activation round to the mix? - Perhaps Justin didn't get the most out of the Sacred Tree with it's special attack. The first and only time he deployed that attack was against an area full of enemies who could all defend. Come to think of it, how can you defend against trees coming to life? Maybe that attack could have additional special rules that make it harder to defend against but in a trade off, make it less lethal. For example defending units can only roll 1 dice each (player may choose which) however all kill results count as disrupts. - Perkunas didn't seem that great, despite some poor rolls. If Justin had had the chance to level him up perhaps he would have posed more of a threat. I feel an extra wound on his base profile would make it seem more of a challenge. - Love how the new command rules feel! Great work implementing this change into the game.
I love the theme of this a bit more than Joan and The Hundred Years War. Very cool. Really want a general 15mm minis game out of this though. I do like the mechanics here, but just a straight up dice chucking, measuring, terrain game ... we need it!
Hey Adrian, because we are focusing on the Baltic region and Perkūnas is the Baltic god of thunder. Perun is from a different Slavic paganism that we are not focusing on. We will have other Baltic and Pagan deities too like Laima.
@@MythicGames cheers, I had researched that later that some Slavic tribes on north from Poland had slightly changed names. it is probably because they have been invaded and conquered by vikings,
Not really a fan of this game but I love the miniatures and the cards, awesome. I'm tempted to back this just for the 15mm minis. Amazing detail for the size.
E Lowe thx for taking notice but have to disagree with you. Actually not complaining about this game just saying it’s not for me and I’m not sold on the mechanics, I like the minis and cards though. Out of the 1000’s of games out there I own about 60 so yeah there are games I like but I’m not sold on everything like most people. People buy anything on a whim because their addicted to collecting and addicted to anything that is Kickstarter exclusive but how often do they play their 100+ games.
Guys ... you are my favorite ! What a pleasure to watch you play this amazing game. I want more !
“There’s only one god and it’s not your god. And I’m going to set fire to this forest to stop you.” Best opening line to any game ever. 🙌🏻🙌🏻
Gerry’s dead pan and comments are fantastic
I think Gerry was a star of today's episode. Perfect impersonation of teutonic crusader I think.
The role playing from Gerry Is awesome. Great video!
Great scenario. Tense finale. Great judgement from Leo. Thank you very much. It was very entertaining.

There are tree from the original game or some different with own paint?
I thought paying upkeep for upgraded characters was gone in 1.5?
Only removed for the first turn. From end of round 2 you need to pay for upkeep.
