Walk blessed, Christmas is here, and Enderal isn't - why is that? We've promised an announcement this week - and this is it. Sorry for the delay, thanks for your patience and your ongoing support, and happy holidays! We'll make sure that Forgotten Stories will be worth the wait. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays,
Found this song by running across the bard in the undercity. Immediately noticed it was not something I heard from the other bards. Not often in a video game I'll put whatever I was doing on hold to stand in front of an NPC and just listen to them sing.
Thats my biggest isue with the game. That depressive atmosphere. Every character is so frickin negative, everybody just hates their life and the world. I can't even remember one single positive, happy-go-lucky character. There is literally no fun in this game, it tries to drag you down emotionally on every occasion. This never made me cry or anything, it just annoyed me.

Very sad and heartfelt music. Heard it once in the main cave of the Undercity. I was late for Tharael's quest, but stopped and listened. Unfortunately, I never heard this song anywhere else. It is actually a refference to the Cleansing. The daughters were so-called Emissaries of the End, and there are theories that the Black Libra, who were responsible, are a cult of Fleshless Ones as you are. I think the Black Libra thought that they might be the ones to begin it. Also, "Their skin white as chalk". Doesn't that remind you of something? If you play the Rhalata questline, it's very possible that Nailaq is Qalian, but that he's Fleshless just like you. Nailaq is Qalian in reverse. Nailaq is the tailor-made version. The body you find in the box is his- just like yours is on the bottom of the Red Sea. My explanations suck, I know. I hope you understand what I am trying to say here.

Doing my second playthrough of forgotten stories after about a year. This song stopped me in my tracks so I could listen, just like it did the first time. I love the songs in Enderal, but this one is something special.
This song puts me in mind of the burning of poor Ryneus. Never had i felt that way in a game. I had once forged an Aeternan great sword for Anarion, my Aeternan warlord, he forged the blade and enchanted it, giving the blade the name “Remorse” it was single handily the most valuable item I had... and now it rests at the foot of the murdered child. There it shall repose, on Fates edge, until another worthy of bearing it emerges, from the ashes of a fallen world..
I'm doing my first play through now, and had Ryneus earlier today. I had to stop playing and just kinda stop for a bit. That part got tears from me, and I know I'll have more in the future with this game. I just had to come listen to some of the music before I go back. I think it's sweet that you left a sword with him, I may find an item that would be significant to my character to leave with Ryneus when I go back.
I had a similarly strong reaction first time around. I rode the horse in silence to Ark to complete the quest. I think I was struggling between anger and remorse. Black Light is one of the best quests ever penned for an RPG.
I know this is a busy time of the year for everyone, but I wonder, would it be possible to have the OST and bard songs on Spotify? I would really love to be able to listen to those tracks on my playlist! Thanks for everything you guys gave us, you are the best!
