- On a Sunday Vibes Livestream, I got a message from a Trinbago Vibes peep that their band is performing at One Woodbrook on May the 4th and they invited me to the event at a place called the Dalai Llama.
I decided to check them out in this one and highlight one of the newest underground Local rock band in Trinidad and Tobago, so if you didn't know we had these rock concerts in Trinbago, now you know. So join us my Trinbago vibes peeps as we check out the band called: Feed the Sun

There was always an audience for heavy metal or rock n roll here. It was more evident in the 80s , we had an international band called Helix do a 3 night show at Queens Hall in 1987.You could find metal albums in any record store.Times changed and the sound and audience changed, I am not a fan of this modern sound that most local acts perform, but I respect them for what they do and their desire to go against what is the norm like dancehall or chutney and offer something different.Kudos to you for doing a video like this and I hope you can do other videos like this to showcase these bands.

Out of the scene now. In my days it was me killing my cousin's Bleed CD.
Lighter stuff was MaxBitU's Take Me Back, Black Rose's The System, Jaundis I's Peace by Piece, Orange Sky's Real Love.
Big tunes, Black Rose and Orange Sky were epic, and Skid Nevely really had some good tunes
Phenix Chinese restaurant in Gasparillo has the best Chinese food in Trinidad. Bless.

I've been to a few local rock concerts. Skyy View Lounge and Kafe Blue have some amazing concerts, featuring bands such as Lynchpin, Beyond The Animus, Good Night Parliament etc. As you said, metal isn't everybody's genre, but every metalhead can tell you... Our local talent should not be underestimated. Great footage of Feed The Sun by the way.❤

Nice to see the local rock scene still around, reminds me of Thursday night 10pm on FM100 with Adrian Don Mora hosting the Rock hour.
I was fortunate to see Orange Sky a few years ago in London for an independance performance. Vibes another different vlog 🎉
And the rock group is a close knit community as well, at least from what I observed

SN: today was the Carnival here in Atlanta and I missed it because of rain but it’s cool cuz nothing compares to Trinidad carnival

@@TrinbagoVibesexactly. God willing, my first year back to Trinidad will be next year 🙏🏾. Been gone too long and yes you should definitely come to ATL carnival. This city can definitely keep a fete going😅. The Caribbean scene here is massive and very diverse
