I mounted the same box about a year ago. I mounted 2 pieces of aluminum L stock on each end of the box and lifted it onto the roof rack rails and away from the roof a bit. I also moved it out away from the A/C some to help the A/C vent. I kept the top of the box just below the A/C as to not add any height to the rig.
I don't see how that's "perfect;" it's pressed against your AC shell, and the shell bulges when you open the box. The shell pops open pretty quickly. My AC Fan connector rusted off after less than a year of usage from the plastic being bulged as it allowed water inside. This install worries me. I would not want that thing flying off my van at 70 miles an hour.

It shouldn't the back and passenger side is open.

Lady, did you not pay attention? The box is bolted in place. it's not going anywhere.
