Your adventures are what we like about Spain, last Sept we spent 2 weeks driving down from Santander on the west side in our car and staying in little villages and towns. Then a month on the coast and a week driving up the eastern side. Everywhere people are so friendly and proud of their village and area. I dont know how far behind we are but Santillana del Mar near Santander is well worth a visit.

Really enjoyed the Vlog love that part of Spain there is a great little aire in Molina de Aragon ( nearby ) which has all the services including electric for €2 for 24 hrs. A great fortress on the hill and only €3 per person admission. A country that just keeps giving 👌

I was just wondering about how you cope with the condensation on the windscreen and specifically how you stop it running down the back of the dashboard and ruining the electrics? A few of us with the Fiat based vans have had electrical problems due to the damp ☹️ All the best, Jim.

Hey John you mentioned that you had ice on inside of windscreen. Do you always sleep with diesel heater off and if so is it due to safety concerns or simply that you don’t like having heating on when in bed

We bought one last year at 1500w we have one solar 150w, three lead 100ah batteries, 2000w inverter, but the air fryer is too much in the uk , we do carry a 2000w generator so that gets used, but moaning campers are a problem 😢 hi Mandy 😊
Yeh, gennies are a big problem if they’re used around others, but if you’re out in the wild and the noise won’t affect anyone then that’s fine. I have 600w solar, 2000 w inverter with 490 AH lithium and the 1500w air fryer works fine, but having the great sunny weather is a game changer in winter.
Wonderful place for the summer. I don't think it's 'being wealthy', from memory it's just a very 'gamey' food area. 6-7 year-old milk cow is some of the best steak you'll ever taste...shame! I did have sliced pig's ear in chilli sauce once...bit like bacon. ?Doesn't Goodle Translate do realtime audible translations these days?

Always take the back roads anywhere. But it’s great in Spain. Fast roads are for when you need to get somewhere specific or fast.

Yes, the road is slightly visible still under water too.
Do you put the diesel heater on during the night ?
Not usually, even up to -10°C outside the vans don’t get too cold inside. The windscreen gets cold though as the blinds keep the heat in the hab area.
Can't imagine being thacold. Our desert trips in South Australia get cold, not sure if that low ever. -5 is jy lowest @johnmandy

If the temp is very low outside then we’ll leave the heaters on overnight, there are no safety concerns
