Moebius' strange ( and, sometimes, humorous ) sounds and unusual rhythmic patterns in contrast with the more spacious, ethereal harmonies from Rother near the middle section was the best part of this show.
Along with Dieter Moebius "Transphone", this is the best he's ever done. Dieter Moebius is in the Top 5 most influential electronic music artists for my own Str8 Sounds projects. This performance is absolutely wonderful, more melodic and funky, in a Morton Subotnick kind of groove. Not like anything you've probably ever heard before. Minimalist techno soundscape experimentation.
Great concert from two members of some of the greatest german bands ever! (Harmonia, Cluster, Neu! Not to mention the equally awesome solo-works of both!)
RIP Dieter Moebius 2015, just 7 months after Edgar Froese and a year after I saw you (both) in a triple concert at Copenhagen Movie Music Festival in April 2014. Moebius opened alone with his computers and keys, and then Michael Rother put on one hell of a show, just like in Lund near Malmö, Sweden in 2011 (as HalloGallo2010), performing old Neu! and Rother solo stuff from the 70s - WOW‼ As if this wasn't enough, before Tangerine Dream (with a really sick sounding Edgar Froese - he died half a year later, and I had no idea how sick he was) played the best show I've seen and heard with them (I had no chance watching them in the 70s (as a poor teenager) or 80s since they never played in Scandinavia back then), performing the newly released, enhanced DBL CD version of the soundtrack to 'Sorcerer' 🎞by William Friedkin, the very fist album I heard in 1976 alongside 'Ricochet'. But wait, there's more! Before TD played as loud as Motörhead in 1983 (many older peeps in the audience were shocked and covered their ears with their hands...), William Friedkin himself appeared and spoke for half an hour! He was great, and very funny. And he said that if he'd heard TD a few years earlier, he would've asked them to compose the score for his 1973 epic 'The Exorcist'...🎥
See you in Copenhagen April 3, 2014, together with Hans Lampe AND Tangerine Dream performing their 'Sorcerer' soundtrack (their first of many) in its entirety!
excuse me, Mr. Rother, Mr. Rother is that a guitar behind you? it is! oh, that's great! pardon my impudence, but don't you think you would enjoy playing it? you do? oh, that's such good news, Mr. Rother. thank you very much, and please forgive my rude interruption . . . . ummm, pardon me for interrupting once again, but is that small man beside you really necessary? he is? oh, ok Mr. Rother, sorry to bother you . . . mmmm, one more thing, Mr. Rother, you don't happen to know if they give refunds at the ticket booth, do you? no, no, of course you don't. thanks again and sorry to interrupt such a stimulating performance . . . .
Billy Zé That small man, Billy, is well sadly was a giant pioneer in electronic music, who happened to be in Harmonia with Michael Rother, namely Dieter Moebius who just died last monday, 20-7-2015.
Guitars suck. I'm glad Rother ignored the guitar and kept that shitty thing out of the performance. Dieter Moebius is one of the greatest electronic music composers in music history. I'd give you a refund for your stupidity.

Good show, wish I had been there. Michael Rother and Dieter Mobius, true heroes of modern art. Love it.

+Billy Zé : Are U, by chance, somewhat deranged? If U wanna see a guitar concert, buy a tkt for Clapton's 'Sunsplash' next time it's on...

Based on your comment you probably dont deserve the feeling experienced by those listeners who are able to connect to this music.
He does play it, though.
