U.S. President Donald Trump's decision to halt foreign aid to foreign countries, especially developing countries, over the next three months will hurt lives around the world immensely.
Namibia is one of the countries that has been receiving aid from the US, most notably in the health sector through the U.S. President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) as well as USAID.
The Minister of Health and Social Services, Dr. Kalumbi Shangula, will be joining us telephonically to discuss if this will impact Namibia in any way.

Dr Kalumbi averted the question, what will happen to the nurses who render HIV services who are currently Pepfar funded? Will the government absorb them or what will happen?
