I saw the the Kingdom Heirs the first time with my new Bride on our honeymoon September 1st 1988 on her birthday at the Dollywood park outside with maybe 50 people sitting on wooden church benches and they were just as fabulous. This is the best southern gospel group I’ve ever had the pleasure to listen to. That was 36 years ago still married and in love❤. Brett Horne Jacksonville Florida.
Love Steve French that is one man I really miss was lucky to see him once and I love Clayton Inman he still has that incredible gorgeous voice with Triumphant Quartet and I love Rick Strickland he is one of my favourite tenors l love and Bob Caldwell he sounds incredible one awesome Bass ♥️
@@sgquartetclassics9962 Not sure who the Bass singer is, but at Baritone is Steve French, at Lead is Clayton Inman, and the Tenor singer is Rick Strickland. Five years previous, around 1985, Tenor Rick Strickland and Lead singer Clayton Inman had been in a Gospel group called The Singing Americans, along with Ed Hill singing Baritone, Duane Burke singing Bass, and Milton Smith playing the piano.
@@ronaldshank7589 I know this comment is super old but just to post this, the bass is actually my uncle, Bob Caldwell. He was with a few groups back in the day. And yes, this lineup was really solid!
Hard to believe, but Rick Strickland (Tenor), and Clayton Inman (Lead), used to sing together in another group-The Singing Americans. Bet they never thought that they'd be singing together again, side by side, in The Kingdom Heirs! Hard to believe, too, that of all the Singers and Band Members that are shown in this Concert Video, only one member, Kreis French, would still be with The Kingdom Heirs. It's truly tragic, as to what happened to Steve French, the Baritone Singer. He turned his back on God, left his Wife, hooked up with a Young Woman in her late 20s, and apparently either left, or got kicked out of, The Kingdom Heirs.after a series of events, Steve French and that Young Lady committed Suicide, a little over 5 Years ago. That just goes to show you, that you can't play games with God because, sooner or later, ya always get caught.
On what year this group recorded this video? The Kingdom Heirs today are totally different. The tenor in this group looks like the tenor of Stamps Quartet when JD Sumner was alive.
Well... almost totally different. One man still with The Kingdom Heirs is Kreis French. He's the Bass Guitarist for The Kingdom Heirs. At current, the Group consists of the following: 1-Kreis French (Bass Guitarist). 2-Dennis Murphy (Drummer) 3-Andy Stringfield (Pianist & Sometimes Baritone Singer) 4-Jeff Chapman (Bass Singer) 5-Loren Harris (Baritone Singer) 6-Arthur Rice (Lead Singer) 7-Jerry A. Martin (Tenor Singer). These Seven Men comprise The Kingdom Heirs.

These guys are fantastic.
Yeah. This was one of their best personnel groups they've had over the years. Enjoy!

Isn’t that Kirk Talley doing backup vocals
This was before Arthur it seems. Forever ago.
Great video, good singers. Where is this bass singing now?

He is Rick Strickland. He left Kingdom Heirs to go sing with JD Summer and the Stamps.
They said 1989
Either 1989 or 1990.
