I love that little convenient store. Imagine if they set one up near the picnic area and sold Tall Boys of Beer. Kennywood would make so much money there's be new additions every year to that ride line up 🤣
I’m glad kennywood is packed tbh because it’s good for there business and it saves them more money for newer rides in the future, but it’s more better when it’s not packed
The main criticism I have with the reduced hours is now that they close at 7 on weeknights there is no chance of me ever going on a weeknight due to working until 5pm and I’m forced to go on Saturday and Sunday when crowds are heavier. I’m glad to see the increase in crowds and I the rumor I heard for the cut in hours was lower attendance in June and Fourth of July weekend. Also heard it was a rash decision by park management which them led to further staffing issues. I hope they decide to keep the park open later next year, it’s definitely been a major sore spot for me for several reasons, and honestly it doesn’t come across was good PR and gives me flashbacks to the poor way the ride removals at the end of 2020 were handled. Also it’s ashame ppl coming for just a day can’t enjoy night time kennywood, it really is a completely difference experience! Great video and thanks for giving more cost info into speedy pass
It does suck. But keep in mind KW isn't the only one. I went to Hershey on a Sunday, late June and they closed at 8 all of June! I think they increased till 9 during 4th of July week. But that was def a surprise for a park of that size. I think they're all hurting from the 2 years of covid and losing money.
As a platinum pass holder, I can tell you that the hours this season have been horrible. I paid for passes to be able to go do 'nightrider' with my daughter after work and I can count on 2 hands how many times they stayed open past 9pm.
I heard they are just not going to open the Steelers Experience building. My friends and I are hoping they use it for a haunt for Phantom Fall Fest. I also think it would be a good location for a new dark ride.
I will be going to Kennywood tomorrow for the first time since 1995 or 1996, and I cannot wait to go! Also, why have the hours at Kennywood been reduced? Is it due to a shortage of staff?
I think raging rapids is down due to the tragic accident at the amusement park in Indiana last summer where the raft overturned, trapping a family. One boy died. Since the rides are exactly the same, i think they're making some safety changes. This is just my opinion but it would make sense.
yeah its an insane price at cedar point i got FAST LANE PLUS for 5 dollars less then the highest tier here THAT IS JUST INSANE ALSO TO REMIND YOU CEDAR POINT HAS ALMOST DUBLE THE COASTERS AND MOST OF THEM ARE WORLD CLASS WORLD CLASS!!!!!!!!!
Fast lane plus was $200 last Saturday at CP. We stayed for 2 days and had to get them for both days unfortunately. I think these express lines make the stand by lines even longer. KW generally doesn't get that crowded so it's usually not needed, especially on a week day.
Yeah also the reason why flp for me was 135 was bc I went on a Wednesday in mid July im also going to ki on Monday me and my friend got fls for 105 each
@@Shoegazeandhiphop but u still needed to buy FP on a wed at CP. You would not have to do that at KW onna wed. I'm going back to CP mid August on a sun/Mon. I know I'm gonna have to get them again unfortunately. I'm just gonna wait till I get there and hope for a slow day lol.
What happened to the tickets that you bought for the rides in the 60's ? it only cost about $1.00 to ride the thunderbolt.I know this is 2023,but my god,are you serious?
When I think they couldn't ripoff their customers any more..... they come up with speedy pass! The greed is astounding. Course, I understand you don't have to buy it.
No, selim is the worst thing to happen to amusement parks. I am more than content shelling out a few extra bucks to get instant rerides as an enthusiast. If it means getting all the credits in one day, fast passes are lifesavers.

My Favorite Roller Coaster is Racer because it is the mildest roller coaster. It’s kinda like the Rollo coaster at Idlewild.

That's not true. They had to order new parts, and they didn't receive them in time to open it this year. I was told that by park management.
