    You only add the coffee when the water is cold and stir it until you see the color changing on the top and then you let it slowly come to a soft simmer. Never to a boil to get the nice cream on the top. the heat should always be maintained at medium

      ​@@KöennigHeats grounds more evenly preventing a more bitter burnt taste. You should also do this with instant coffee, first dissolve in a little room temp water than add the rest hot.

      Its not tasteless but yes, it taste better after a few days. This is a pretty handmade roast so I don't think there's a point on waiting. Is not gonna taste perfect any way. Is more about the experience than the flavor I guess

    I'm not pretty sure about using hot / warm water
    Here, in Egypt and also by Turkish traditional way, we use normal temperature water, so as the coffee get well cooked on low heat
    Try it. 👍

      The finer the coffee the less the cook time, for example French press uses a coarse grind because it cooks for 5 minutes. Espresso uses a finer grind and hence only cooks for 30 seconds. Turkish coffee grind is the finest and hence should be lower cook time or else an acidic/sour taste will appear

    Турецкое кофе высшее, особенно когда готовиться в турке на горячем песке. Одна маленькая фарфоровая чашечка кофе, бокал апельсинового сока и сигарета...сидишь на берегу черного моря и смотришь
    на закат. Непередаваемый кайф..

    Amazing way of making Turkish/Greek Coffee but with the Arabic way since you didn't put the coffee when the water was cold (Greek/Turk way) rather than after it boiled (Arabic way) !

    I've had a Turkish coffee once. It was harder than any beverage I ever had, including alcoholic ones. This makes me wonder, if I add something like vodka to Turkish coffee, will it dilute it or make it stronger?

    Cà phê khi mới vừa rang xong bạn không nên uống ngay, vì cà phê cần thời gian trao đổi khí (tạo ra Carbon Dioxide) để tạo ra hương vị đầy đủ và thể chất dày. Nếu cà phê mới rang xong, bạn mang ra dùng liền sẽ thấy hương vị cà phê rất nhạt nhẽo và không đậm đà, bởi vì mùi hương chưa thật sự chuyển hóa hết. Cách tốt nhất là sau khi rang xong bạn nên để cà phê “Hô Hấp” từ 12-24h rồi hãy thưởng thức. Tuy nhiên bạn cũng đừng đợi quá lâu để uống vì "chất lượng" cà phê sẽ giảm dần hương vị tổng thể sau 14 ngày và đỉnh điểm của hương vị cà phê là khoảng 7 ngày sau khi rang.
    Sau 14 ngày cà phê bắt đầu cũ đi.
    Tôi là người Việt Nam. Chúng tôi sử dụng từ "NGÁI" cho vị cà phê mới rang xong là uống như vậy.

    Shame that grinder doesn't grind fine enough for Turkish coffee so this is basically french press without the press. None of us get to make up a cultural coffee definition. Turkish is with very finely ground coffee and heated on sand.

      Did you see how fine the grounds were? French presses use coarse grounds. The coffee ground here would be way too fine for a French press. I think the coffee they ground here looked perfect for Turkish coffee

      It is really fine grinded. The grind size for french press would look more like really coarse sand, this looks more like flour. Sand would be ideal to heat, cause it's easier to control, but this video is described as "very wild" and not "culturally accurate".

    I cant imagine that's going to taste great without resting those freshly roasted beans at least a couple of days.
    Coffee straight out of my roster to any form of brewer tends to have a harsh, grass-like finish that overwhelms most other flavors until properly rested.
