BLUE MOVES is probably my #2 favourite album of Elton's - CAPTAIN FANTASTIC AND THE BROWN DIRT COWBOY coming in 1st. I hope that Elton's record company does a decent 50th anniversary "box" for BLUE MOVES. There were lots of outtakes from BLUE MOVES songs from the ROCK OF THE WESTIES the previous year. Are some of those outtakes here? I've always been curious about what songs were initially selected for the proposed single disk album BLACK MOVES...? Who did the "new" 2024 stereo mix for "Chameleon"? Thanks for posting these tracks. It is always interesting to hear the basic tracks without all of the overdubs. Love this album.
Some of the new mixes can be found on UA-cam, so I don’t know if this CD just lifts those. Obviously there are tracks on here which bear no connection to Blue Moves.

this came from a CD from Japan, that's all the information I have, there are no liner notes, sorry
