    Cool video my dude. I wonder if this will work and fit in my 1971 Camaro. I looked at Classic Industries and they want like $500 for Halo lights!! I looked at the lights you got and $70 for a pair sounds like a steal.

    *I bought similar headlights for my 1976 Camaro. I got lazy and connected the halo BT module directly to the battery with a fuse between and I unplug the module when parked. I can control the halos with an app.* 2ndGenFrank

    Amazing video. Defiantly putting these in my dads 69 camaro, how did you wire the turn signals for the halo? Did you just run that add on fuse which gave you a tree of connections that you ran to the headlight assembly? Also for that same turn signal on the halo, how does it connect with the flasher? Does it do it by itself or do I have to wire it? If so please let me know how it’s done. Thanks!

    • @McSpeedAlaskanAdventures
      @McSpeedAlaskanAdventures  2 роки тому

      Thanks. You will wire a power (ignition on) to get the halo to glow key on. You will just splice the blinker/Amber wire to the front parking/blinker wire. The halo will automatically cycle flash with the amber. No extra relays or flashers needed.

    • @KhaiMahase
      @KhaiMahase Рік тому

      @@McSpeedAlaskanAdventures Quick question. So from the new halo headlight, i will extend the wire and connect it to the running lights which is the turn signal light? Then after that I will splice the new led circular pieces for the running lights into the headlight?

    • @McSpeedAlaskanAdventures
      @McSpeedAlaskanAdventures  Рік тому

      @@KhaiMahase yes. As long as you mean the blinker wire that goes to the parking light. Parking light has a ground, parking light, and then the turn signal/blinker.

    • @KhaiMahase
      @KhaiMahase Рік тому

      @@McSpeedAlaskanAdventures alright, it seems a bit confusing. But how have the headlights held up to this day? Everything working like it should? Also are the headlights really bright? Im doing it on our 69 convertible camaro. Its gonna look killer. So basically I have 327 in our camaro. For the white drl/running light where would that be connected to? After that is connected we need to connect the Blinker. That will be connected to the turn signals(running lights). Then after the headlight turn signal is solved, the led o ring/switchback need to be connected. Where would I connect that? To the turn signal wire on the running lights or on the headlight turn signal wire?

    Hey also, I see you have a 60mm and a 80mm halo in the description. I want it to have the halo o ring like the headlights we both now have. Do I need to get both?

    • @McSpeedAlaskanAdventures
      @McSpeedAlaskanAdventures  Рік тому

      If you want to led the parking lights then you’ll need a set for them. I think the 60 is what I got in the inside of them. The 80 almost fits the outside and would have looked cooler but the radius in it makes the larger ring not fit well.

    So, I went to the Amazon link, and ordered the same lines for my 69 camaro, the bulb won't line up in the bucket..the 3 tabs don't match up. So I read the box and it says J003BH...maybe shipped the wrong ones.
    Did you have to modify anything to make yours fit?
    Thank you

      I don’t recall changing anything. I remember spinning then around multiple times as they only fit one way and it will seem impossible until it sits in that slot. That should be the correct part number. I don’t know if anything changed since the original order. Did you try to post a question at Amazon as well?

    • @McSpeedAlaskanAdventures

      I spliced in right where the socket connects from the factory harness to the front blinker harness. I then made a T of that wire to feed the headlight and the halo that I installed in the blinker housing.

    Help me on mine...same car but old school fuse box. Do you know how I can get the DRL to work as well as the blinker set up? What relays did you use?

    • @McSpeedAlaskanAdventures
      @McSpeedAlaskanAdventures  Рік тому +1

      You can run the DRL pulling a wire off you accessories fuse. And or try your radio fuse. You can buy a connector that will snap into the glass fuse holder and make a male spade end. For the blinker as long as you still have a non LED bulb front or rear in the circuit it should still blink. If you have all LED with your new headlights that have the blinker ring you’ll need an LED conversion flasher relay. Should be easy to look up. Your local store may have one. The LED current load is too low for a standard original flasher to work.
