Since DW2, Wuzhang Plains always has great BGM. But Hopeful Pain (DW8) and Never Dying Wishes (DW9) are just amazing. For me, Hopeful Pain gave me the pump to fight the losing battle. But, Never Dying Wishes made attacking hard cuz I just want to listen to the BGM (as if the weapon becomes heavy). That is why it's so good. I wish they play the music for the whole battlefield, even when travelling across the battlefield (they can stop when we left the battlefield, tho).
After the death of Zhuge Liang, the Three Kingdoms were just delaying the inevitable. The younger generation never had the capabilities of generals like Zhao Yun and Zhang Liao.
Purple Ocean There was Wen Yang... the guy was told being an Incarnation of Zhao Yun. But got hate by Sima clan and finally got killed the whole family to the third degree. That why I hate the Sima 😑
Lucas Wibisono in the war of the eight princes one of the relatives of zhuge dan came up with a conspiracy and accused wen yang of treason so his family was executed to the 3rd degree
Except Zhao Yun was never that capable though, being merely average and never given important positions under Liu bei's regime; where's the respect for guys like liao hua, zhang yi or luo xian?if you don't know much about them than that shows their overall mistreatment. Luo xian was a beast who after shu fell, helped jin defend baidi against a very large wu invasion, almost like a second Zhang liao or hao zhao
Would've been better if it played for more than just the main fortresses of both strategists... Since battles are so short in this game, many musics are just wasted because they only play in one area and most areas take only a few minutes to finish.
Seriously. I know some of the softer background music and the generic battle theme and that's it. Any of the other tracks I don't ever remember actually hearing in the game because of how short battles are. I remember before the game launched I heard "Rainwater" and was super excited to hear it at Fan Castle in the full release and I legit don't ever remember hearing it in the game.
