Mike bello has something that 99.999% of the people in this country will never have. The satisfaction of actually making something with their head and their own two hands. Man, what a unique concept in today’s world.
Chopping a top is a very very long road of labor, gifted ability and patience. The older You get the tougher it is on your body. Mike is the best on you tube.
No shit ! Yet everybody and their brothers know all about the guys producing junk . One guy even made fun of Bellos . He was talking about the guy who uses a mini saw to make perfect patches , then tigs everything together . He was saying he can do the same thing in an hour ....but he left out the part about using 50 pounds of Bondo to hide his crap work . He also left out the fact that in 20 years , his Bondo crap will be all shrunk up , cracked , and basically junk . 50 years from now , when somebody takes one of Bellos jobs and strips it down for paint , he'll say " Man , whoever did this knew what the fuck he was doing " . Anyway , I hope Carapilla is just off doing something else for a minute ....and returning soon .I'd like to see a feature video on Carapillas '30 ...or '31 ? . Keep up the good work Bellos and Company .
The '49 Chevy Coupe is my absolute favorite car. I've loved it since I was 16 in La when I saw one in an old guy's yard. His dog was living in it. He wouldn't sell it. I'm 66 now so 50 years of loving this car. Maybe one day.
Famous quote, if you don't understand why I do it like this, gently put down your tools and walk away, lol another great video and again well done and nice work Mike and Steve
Hey Mike you should be using the hearing protection whenever you using any power tool. No matter what kind of noise they are producing, low or high, it is having an impact on your ears. I spent twenty years in the Air Force working on different radars, cabinet blowers make a low rumble, antenna drive systems make anything from a low whine electrical drives, to the scream of hydraulic drives. I have been wearing hearing aids for at least 20 yrs. and it ain't the coolest thing believe me, take care of what you have left!
Hey…love seeing the fabrication. Each car is always a puzzle with metal work and your eye for design to match is amazing!! Sweet video! Thanks Mike, Sam and Big Steve! Happy Father’s Day!
@@StreetTruckinTitan my truckercap fits my big head just like a glove. I'm in the beginning to have a look what color glas i'm goung to use on my gmc truck so i can order it and put the awesome bello's stickers on it
Absolutely love your videos here in Australia. We are spreading the Bello's word here and getting all the boys on-board. Very grateful for your time and effort. Have some merch now too so we're hoping you get to 50K and beyond fellas. 🙏🤞👍💪
Crazy that this channel only has 49k when there's channels that do shit work with 100k+. Keep it up Mike we know what channel does the real craftsmanship.
The right way or the wrong way is just a matter of perspective. As long as its the Bello's way then you are in good shape. I love the rear quarters on that era car and also the way you used the door frame to make it a hard top, looks killer!! Thank you Mike, Big Steve and crew and Cheers to all the Fathers today from Edmonton Alberta Canada
I was having withdrawals. Glad to see your back. Bondo work is not what people like to see. Lol. This is a cool chop. Seeing lots of cool tricks. Keep them coming.
Thank you for wishing us a happy fathers day. It is 1 of 5 holidays I actually celebrate. Fathers Day, Memorial Day, Veterans Day, 4 of July, & Christmas. If my family drops by on other holidays I celebrate with then but normally I only celebrate the important ones.
Feliz dia de Padres to you and the whole Bellos crew and as always another Mas Firme production by Big Steve. Looking forward to the next video #tusabes #Tadow💪🏽
You doin shit we never even thought about back then. We were gettin our cars on the road!!! That was it. Took me 6 years to drive my 49 around. Beach chair makes a fine seat.
Brother I've been dealing with cars since I was 16, I'll be 64 this year. If you are a young man wanting to get custom modifications done to your car you better have some patience!!!. I know,it seems like forever. But Mike is correct about what he is talking about! Rewind the video again and again. I grew up in the Sam Fernando valley,CA. This is a patience game , get your shit done right, some of my homies had to wait a year just to get in a good shop. I now live in Denver Colorado wish I had a guy like Mike. Oh yeah!! Get your money together, your gonna need it!!!😎
I remember the first time i heard the word chuko in mid sixties, he pointed at this guy who had beatle boots on and greased back hair. The chop job is quite the job the way you do it!!! No wonder things take so long, perfection is hard to achive!!!
Good evening to all the father's out there and to the baddest custom shop around hats off to you guys wonder if you guys could hang with the high temperatures out here in Glendale Arizona we will be cooking this week supposed to be in the 115s all week we might see 120 degrees stay cool and keep on with the beautiful work
Always a pleasure to watch The Master at work. Hope you don't mind a tip from an old Canadian vintage auto recycler ,but, those stubborn Yankee Philips screws come out easier when I whack the screwdriver while it's set in the screw half a dozen times good and hard then try to move it tighter first and then it will usually unscrew with your hand pressing hard on the Phillip[s. Works for me! Hope this helps. Now teach us the rest of that cha cha chop! I tell all of my kustomers to check out your channel. Simply the best neighbor.
Bro. I watch some of the shit you do and how you do it and it takes me back to workin on cars with my dad RIP, I’m an old man now but damn. Thank you!!
I’ve been dying to see Dr. Bello perform surgery on a 49-50 Chevy! I have a ‘50 business coupe that I will chop someday. No one I’d rather watch how to do this. Awesome
And part one you did not pop the trunk but the way that ride hangs I’m thinking it’s been in your shop before. Excited to see the chop the top was always wrong on those cars They were never very sleek I look forward to seeing your vision you put on it
Hello Bello you're one of my favorite youtubers. You're an artist, I really mean it. What you Create takes time and skill but most of all experience. A Hard top sports coupe is gonna be so cool. Anyways, thanks for having this channel. We really enjoy it. You're a bad ass. A friend in Phoenix 👍🏻
No doubt about it Mike is the best in the custom car business. He does it all unlike a lot of shops that have multiple employees work on a single project.
I watched this the day it came out, but I had to come back and watch again, and save it. It's gonna help me shave the rain gutters from my '60 falcon! Thanks homie!
My favorite “car show” channel! Not only is Mike highly skilled but he is so authentic. It would be great to hang out with him. A consistent weekly video might help grow your channel. You deserve to be at 100k subscribers easily! Most of all continue to do what makes you happy!
I learn more in 10 minutes of just one of your videos than any of the other guys i follow. If I had a car I wanted to customize I would just bring it to you. Your skills are amazing!!! Bellows Rocks!!! HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!!!
Awesome as always love the way you come up with a plan and follow it up teaching the whole time very nice keep up the good work and happy fathers day🎉locochones nm

No kidding, more people should know about him
Please make “According to my calculations” Bello’s Kustom t-shirts. I’d wear that with pride
I can't believe this channel doesn't have over 100k subs! Oh well alot of people are missing out on a real custom builder!
Word! 😉✌
Big Steve has to step his game up more consistency.
I agree 👍🏿 with your assessment.

Most people who do this kind of work are not " TA-DA"
I enjoy every episode. Happy Father's day my brother.
Knowledge you can't get in college, thank Mike for showing how to make a hard top before cutting the top. Can't wait for the next steps 👍🏾

Can't have a more better Father's Day without some Bello's Customs Video......! Saludos to all the Father's out there! 👊👍👌
I was thinking the exact same thing.
Everyone seems to want a Tri-5 Chevy; gimme a '49 to '51 any day! [coincidentally; '49 was the year
I was born] Just love that styling.
Always my favourite to sit down and watch, pure talent, humble person doing what he does best! Bring on 50K
Hell ya Big Steve 1 hr of quality entertainment for Fathers Day..... enjoy the day homies!!
