I love being able to save beautiful treasures from the landfill and use them in my home! Let me know if you enjoyed this type of video and would like to see more!
Thank you so much, Justine!! It is always such a pleasure to hear from you! I’m so glad you enjoyed the video! My sisters and I so appreciate your support of our channel and your friendship - albeit virtual! 🥰
What treasures in the cupboards! The blue tea pot with the leaves up in your cupboard looks so precious. Such a sweet story of your mother finding the ceramic spice holder and bringing it to you safely. I too recently thrifted 8 vintage avacado water goblets and I love them as they are great for bringing color to the table. Whenever I'm at an estate sale, thrift store, etc. I too gravitate to glassware, dishes, .... all things to beautify the table and make it feel special. Thank you to you 3 sisters for opening up your homes and sharing your decor and thrifing ideas. I'm really enjoying your channel. ❤
Mary Beth thank you so much for your very sweet comments! My sisters and I appreciate your support and encouragement! It is so much fun to "meet" another dishware lover! I can't seem to resist dishes -ever! LOL. We are thrilled that you are enjoying our channel - we definitely have fun making and sharing these videos. Thanks again for taking the time to watch and comment! Take care!
What a fun video! I had to laugh at Phoebe. I was watching the video with my two little Shih Tzu pups and was wondering which one was snoring so loudly!!😂
I have that same turtle paper towel holder! I love it! You have everything displayed so beautifully! You gave me some new ideas. Thanks for the great video!
I grew up with Butter kept in the refrigerator. It is not until I gained a daughter-in-law that she keeps the butter like that and I have learn to enjoy that. Also enjoyed the snoring.
I loved seeing everything in your beautiful kitchen Paula. I loved your pretty spice set from your Mum. It's cold here in the UK at the moment due to a blast of Arctic air!! ❄ ❄❄ x
Thank you so much, Sue! That spice set is one of favorite things! I hope it warms up soon for you and spring is in the air! My sister Patty and her family are heading to Ireland in a few weeks and I know she's hoping for some warmer temps! Take care!
My Aunt had those tall avocado colored glasses. I love the clear and brown colored glassed which I forgot what you said they were called. Beautiful. You have many lovely items in your home.
i love when you say pre-loved. it is true. things that were passed on to me or given to me by friends or family means a lot to me. they are sentimental treasures. my husband and i once thought of full time rving and selling everything we had. but i could not do it. God bless
I'm with you - I don't think I could ever get rid of all my treasures ... they are far too sentimental to me! The memories they bring back of loved ones and time gone by are priceless! I'm so glad you enjoyed the video! Take care!
I enjoyed your video. My home is full of thrifted items. I also keep my butter out on my counter. My aunt gave me a butter dish for my birthday years ago. It is wider than usual and will hold 2 sticks of butter. It also has a little knob handle on top.
Thanks, Melisha! When all my kids are home from college, we may need a bigger butter dish like yours! We seem to go through a LOT of butter! Thanks for watching and commenting! :)
Lovely!!! So we are building a new home here in CT and it’s in a very small, very wooded development all of which is called Owl’s Ridge…..I am planning on naming our home The Owl’s Nest (like all homes are named in Nantucket) and so having said that….if you ever decide to sell the owl shaker you have….I’m your girl!!
Paula, thank you for showing us your beautiful kitchen. I love hearing the stories behind the items, all of which have added a very homely and special touch. I can't go past your spice drawer however, it is very sweet ❤️
Thank you so much, Elizabeth! This was a fun video to make - I’m glad you enjoyed the stories. I always love to hear about the stories behind the treasures 🥰
I absolutely loved this video and so enjoyed seeing all of the items you have purchased in use. Your kitchen is absolutely gorgeous and has so much charm. Can’t wait for more thrifted room tours. And, yes, our glassware affinity is most definitely in our DNA. ❤
Thank you for the thrifted tour and how beautiful everything looks in your kitchen. I have the square jadite refrigerator dish too and also the blue one I found out thrifting. Plus the Friendly Village small dishes or coasters and in addition the whole set of FV dishes we bought when we were first married. We use to use them everyday but now just for special occasions. Everyday are Corelle dishes as they are light weight and it can put them in the microwave. I didn’t see any ugly or bad but only good. I can see you are well organized, neat and orderly like a lot of us educators are. Old things just add charm to our homes. Looking forward to some more of all your presentations.
Good Morning Judith! Thanks so much for all the positive comments and feedback on this video! I’m so envious of your Friendly Village dish set! I just love that pattern 😍. Take care and thanks for all your support of our channel!
Your kitchen is so pretty. I enjoyed seeing all of your treasures and listening to the stories attached to each item. I have to say that everything looks nice and neat to me. 😊 I can’t wait to watch your home tour. ❤
Thank you so much! I’m planning to do a spring/Easter home tour on March 27th! I am so glad you enjoyed this video! My sisters and I are so grateful for all of wonderful friends that support our channel! Cheers!!😊
Ive been watching several YT Thrifter for several months, I just recently started going thrifting myself and have picked up a few things. Watching you share your kitchen finds has me excited that over time my own kitchen will be filled with wonderful pre-loved items. Enjoyed your tour today, hope it's a good week for you.
You got this! Soon your home will be filled with beautiful pre-loved treasures! And thrifting is so much fun!! Thanks so much for your sweet comments. I’m so glad you enjoyed the video and it gave you some inspiration!!😊
I use my vintage dishes also. I love to have them on my table when friends come over. I am looking for a large stoneware jar to place my vintage rolling pins. I saw one in our local vintage shop with a price tag of thirty dollars plus. Do you think that a good price?
Hi Mary Lynn - I think the thirty dollar price tag is very good - especially if it's a large one. I never see them for less than that! I am so happy that you use your vintage dishes - it is a shame just to let them sit in a cupboard!
I love being able to save beautiful treasures from the landfill and use them in my home! Let me know if you enjoyed this type of video and would like to see more!
My mom and sister in law both had lots of Japanese stoneware. I just love it too.
Hi Lynn - it's so sturdy and comes in so many pretty variations. I always find it at thrift stores and can't believe people want to get rid of it!
Everything great and beautiful I Loved everything thanks for sharing.
Thanks so much! 😊
Thankyou ❤
You are so welcome! Glad you enjoyed the video!
No judgement from me, Paula. Your cabinets are more organized than mine. I love the spice jars and pretty glasses.
Hi Jane! Thanks so much for your kind comments! I love to be organized, but I don’t always succeed! LOL
Love your kitchen and all your thrifted items
Thanks so much mom! 😘
I love your kitchen with your awesome finds. My favorite thing is to decorate my home with thirfted items.

I love the "real life" view of your kitchen! I haven't yet found glass bowls while thrifting and I desperately need them!
I will be on the lookout for you! I see them pretty often - although now that I'm looking for them, I probably won't see any! LOL
I keep my butter dish out too! Love this video! The tins are so nice.
Thank you so much!! I’m so glad you enjoyed the video!🥰

I will keep you in mind if I ever need to re-home my owl! 😁. I love when houses have names!!
My mother and grandmother ALWAYS kept their butter on the counter as do I. It doesn’t last long enough to spoil in my house.
Same in our house! We are a butter loving family! 😊
Your kitchen is beautiful, and I love the Friendly Village butter pats! So many beautiful items.
Thank you so much!

My wife adds: "Looove your chicken apron!!"
Awww ..... thanks! It was a gift from my mom!
Thank you that was lovely. Yes please to more tours!
