the fiberglass pen does nothing in any circumstance. in fact i throw it away as soon as i see tha it was useless. i prefer using the grinding pen when the battery terminal is in this light corrosion state. if there is too much corrosion i replace it, obviously.

Yeah, it was pretty useless. I didn't even think about the grinding pen, which is a good idea.
