I have an idea for a future abandoned train. There is an abandoned Alco RS type locomotive at the NRE Mt. Vernon, IL facility. If we can find out the heritage of that thing, I say we restore it.

They first brought the 645 prime mover back to life and then gave it a new paint job. The Florida Fun Train F40PHR reemerges as Florida Fun Train #354. It has the wrong horn and bell. No, The Fun Train Do Not Exist Anymore, It Was Bought By The Alaska Railroad For 3.6 Million Dollars
The F40PHs were sold to Panama for the Panama Canal Railway. So technically yes they're still around just not as the Florida Fun Train F40PHs anymore.
