they aren’t YOUR monks, wtf? they’re living their lives with nothing to do with you. their way of life helps them and their brothers how does it affect you. you could easily do the same but would you??? plus they are chinese and in china.. westerners came into asia and wanted to get rid of buddhism and taoism, as a result many monks were killed.

Yes let’s rely on these poor monks rather than do anything ourselves.. that is not their way of thinking. They are themselves, they are not yours to claim.. Qi is a fact of life. It exists in the air, in a cup of water, and in a blade of grass. They are harnessing their own Qi, they can do nothing for you and this mindset is hurtful. If you aren’t going to contribute to this universal web of Qi that you are referencing, then you must follow in their footsteps. If you would rather claim their Qi as your own it’s very similar to how a parasite would act. They are trying to spread these ideals so others will follow, not so others can sit back and be lazy while these monks contribute.

And they still come by the thousands, despite your hatred because this is the center of Chan(ZEN), Buddhism and the heart of Shaolin Gung Fu for the last 1500 years
