Naaaaaah you can take it up there, just gotta find the right spot to stay that'll let you still play on windy days. No matter how bad it gets with the wind, Mallets is still usually good to fish and the fishing is good in there almost all year long.

Looks like a fun day! I always tell myself I would never throw an A-rig even if it was legal here in NH, but I'm pretty sure I'm lying to myself.
lmao the yak would have turned into a submarine real quick! And you'd absolutely throw it. It's a different kind of bite, think like ideal spinnerbait bite but magnified 3x. Every single bite feels like you've hooked a monster, they hit it so friggen hard.

Thanks buddy! You absolutely need to get out there. Plenty of free ramps all over that lake and plenty in spots that are good for a yak if the wind is being problematic.

Yes sir! GoPro Hero10's filming at 4K and 60 frames per second, I do have to add a little sharpness to make up for the downgrading you get from UA-cam compressing the heck out of the video, and a little color correction as well to bring it back to more natural colors. But very light on both of those things.

Is there a reason you are not in a hurry to get the bass back into its natural environment after you bring it aboard your boat ? Just curious.
How many hooks on the A rig?
Two hooks on a five armed rig to keep it legal in Vermont waters.
Sorry, meant to elaborate on the last comment. I'll use two good swimjig hooks for the real hooks, put one in the center longer arm and the other on one of the two lower arms. The other three arms I just use Keitech ball jigs because they're cheap and easy-ish enough to cut the hooks off, but you want to cut them like halfway through the bend. Make it easier to get baits on there and keep them on there, especially with a dab of super glue right under the head. If you cut the hook down to a little stub then the fish will just rip those baits to shreds instantly when they hit one of the dummy hooks.
