Hey Kyle, the French Colony stamps are great in design. You have a wonderful collection. Thanks for sharing it! Sad to hear about your job loss, but there is always something good coming your way. All the best! 😊

Another cabinet episode. I love therm! French Polynesia is sometimes called French Oceania so that is why the name is a little different. Some stamp shows will have bid boards where they put stamps on a wall and people bid on them. Near the end of the show they collect the stamps and you can check to see if you won any. It is a really cool system. When you sign up they give you a bidder number. Below each stamp is a card with lines that you can write your number and your bid amount. Periodically throughout the show you check the card to see if someone has put in a higher bid. If so then you can put in a higher bid below theirs. Though if it is a stamp that you really want then 5 minutes before the auction closes you need to stand by the card to make sure that nobody sneaks in a higher bid at the last moment. Charles de Gaulle was also a President of France. French West Africa was an administrative area that was composed of many countries. Stamps with the individual names should be put in those countries rather than in French West Africa. Notice the last two sets only say only French West Africa, They are true French West Africa stamps. Same thing with me and National Geographic but it was in the 60's. I like the Formosa Christmas Seals. I love it when people say something is hard to get but they are selling it for 10c. Lol! I think that it is funny that these "sand dune" countries that are 99.9% Muslim issue Christmas stamps every year. You know that they were not used internally but only issued for the collector's market. The old joke that Gabon is the country where people talk too much. The Gambia stamp with Queen Elizabeth is actually the Queen Mum whose name is also Elizabeth. The lady on the Georgian stamp is a medieval Georgian Queen. Don't remember her name.

Great Kyle’s cabinets episode! Really nice stamps. On a side note: possibly consider teaching high school auto shop. You definitely don’t make your own hours but sometimes the school helps with lateral entry to be able to qualify -especially having had experience.

Loved those stamps like the flowers and royals! I really enjoy your cabinets episodes! The Coolify 3! Wow! What a great invention! Thanks for sharing!
I completely agree with your stance on your work environment! Even though you had compromised in the past, she wasn’t willing to and that is very sad when people choose not to grow themselves. Maybe there is a shop in a nearby town or another opportunity there for you to continue what you’re good at and be paid what you are worth in the skills you possess. I mean they could have just turned the music down or changed it, such an easy solution for everyone. I have been a teacher for 21 years and every year I thought about doing something different because of the stress teaching causes on a daily basis, but I’m glad I stuck with what I’m good at and earn a wage that my skills are worth. I drive 30 minutes to work. I’m going to have to change workplaces because of a pre-k classroom closure so my interview this week is about a 45 min. interstate drive instead of backroads 30 mins., but pray I get this job! Your next position is out there waiting for you! Good luck!

I appreciate your empathy towards my little situation there, lol. Thank you for the suggestion about teaching! Sorry to hear of your work changes as well. If you know your worth then keep on moving until you find a proper place. Teachers deal with a lot and I respect the effort you make. I wish you the best with all of it!

I love the Kyle's Cabinet episodes. Thanks, Kyle! Like you, I really like many of the French stamp designs, and in the stamps you showed today also the Gabon flower stamps 26:44 ; and Gambia bird stamps are on my favourite list. I was speechless when you told about the problem with the woman at work ending that you had to resign/go! Are they/she allowed to do that? It seems like a matter that should have been resolved. You had legitimate reasons for using the ear phones, especially since they made you more productive. I am not good at giving advice about career changes - I am a bit in the same position at the moment - long story. Judging from your stamp videos - have you thought about teaching? I think you will be an excellent teacher in mechanics, for especially young adults/adults. It might not pay so well - I don't know - but maybe it might be the career path that might fit you perfectly? I am sure everything will work out fine! Good luck!!

Hey there! I would say the place I just left is kind of a mess. The owner pays Milly to be a manager but I'm not sure she is really cut out to be one. The owner himself seems kind of lazy and just doesn't want to deal with everything so he's given her lots of authority. It was just a weird scenario. Honestly, I thought of quitting many times because the place is a dump. The pay was good though and that's why I was trying to make it work. Oh well, one opportunity leads to another I suppose. After everything, I still think it's screwed up that she was willing to oust me for something so small, what a joke... Teaching is something I haven't truly considered. Others mentioned that as well. It's a interesting suggestion that I will have to give some thought to. Thanks for your thoughts and always being so nice😊😊. I hope your career path leads to a positive place as well!!
