I use to go to zoos and about 8 years ago I got my eyes opened to why they are horrible for the animals. I will never support a zoo again!
I am so grateful for people like this lady for caring (and actual genuine care) for these animals and so grateful for the people that rescue them!
I have been putting a lot of thought the last 6 years about what I really want to do, what I'm passionate about. I thought about nursing since I'm a person that genuinely cares for others. I got a job as a Med Tech/caregiver about 5 years ago. As much as I love my job I still feel this isn't what I was meant for. I love traveling so I was like ok, a traveling nurse, but after watching several videos, documentaries about how people around the world treat animals and how many cruel humans there are, knowing my love for all animals I would love more than anything to help rescue them. Hopefully in my near future I will be able to do that. There needs to be more.

Those enclosures are super impressive and should be how all are required for the animals. Shows that they really care about the animals health mentally and physically etc.

How do these wyld animals keep their teeth nice, without someone doing it for them?
Animals in the wild have healthy teeth without a dentist because of their diets. Teeth were made to be resilient.

This is so sad to me.. these animals deserve to be in the wild
Ok first off these animals have no clue what the wild is. Big cats have been in captivity in the United States for about 15 generations and 200 years. The big cats in captivity have not been taken from the wild and a cage is all they’ve known. Also what wild are they going to?? The wild that is being destroyed at 100,000 acres a day that wild? There are 3,000 tigers left in the wild and that number is decreasing everyday. People like u who prob support the BCPSA and the hypocrisy of these “sanctuary’s” are why tigers r going extinct. Without tigers in captivity there will be none in the wild. In the next 5 years tigers will be extinct and they sort of already are. Since the gene pool is so small in the wild any cubs being born (there haven’t been in a while) are dying bc of bad genetics and r all messed up. Tigers in captivity get-
-regular vet work
- they have no threats (people)
- they get feed daily (ours do)

This is such a common comment. Facilities like this rescue and save animals that can't live in the wild. They're not breeding them. You can't just release an animal that has lived in captivity and expect it to survive in the wild. There are a lot of horrible people that profit off of an animals misery. This is not the case.
