I’ve also been trying to get into procreate during this isolation. I try to do one tutorial a week, but there have been times when I get super into it an binge. Thanks, Teela. You’re my go-to procreate guru.
So a few things: I love love looove your procreate tutorials. So simple to follow and it creates beautiful outcomes! I’ve had procreate for a long time and didn’t use it as much as I do now because whenever I did, I felt like my art wasn’t good and I wasn’t able to figure out what to do. With your videos I’m finally able to learn how to create beautiful digital art! And lastly, I was previously using free watercolor brushes from a different UA-camr to follow your tutorials with and was just trying to make it work with different brushes. It worked but wasn’t the best. I finally caved in and bought your watercolor brushes and they’re AMAZING!! I love them so much more than the free ones I was using. It’s definitely worth the $! THANK YOU SO MUCH for creating amazing content!!
I was literally looking at a iPad Pro because I have this desire to draw flowers, herbs and other things as well but I can't draw worth a crap, I'm more of a crafty person on the creative aspect. I then went to UA-cam and found your channel and all I gotta say is that I LOVE YOU AND THANK YOU FOR THIS!
You make the most amazing tutorials! They’re easy to understand and help to create beautiful art 😍 my colors always look much different than you’re though. Can you please share what color profile you’re using, or why you think they may be so different? Thank you so much for putting such awesome free content together. ❤️
Hey! I'm recording a screen, so the ipad's brightness will play a role, the recording camera's brightness settings, the editing process the video goes through, and then there's the settings of the screen you're watching the video on. With so many variables, it's impossible to match it exactly, but the color palettes I provide are always the exact ones I'm using in the vid 👍
I'm a total beginner with a new iPad and 'new to me' ProCreate app so i'm working at the smallest detail level to understand what to do. One question is, on 3:07 you refer to painting The lightest petals' first then going to the darker . Then at 3:17 you tell us to 'grab my brightest yellow (not lightest) , but instead you actually pick a darker yellow and paint with it. I have a feeling you add 'lighter yellow's and 'darker yellows' buy the number of overlaps? :)
Beautiful! I would love to try this but as a beginner don’t want to spend any money on brushes etc just yet! Can you tell me which alternative brushes I can use? :)
I'm kind of confused on the watercolor paper background. When I downloaded the brush set the paper backgrounds were in the brushes. How were you able to add a photo of them? PS: love your tutorials - thank you!
Hey! It sounds like you picked up the watercolor illustration brush set ( every-tuesday.com/watercolor-illustration ) which has them as pattern brushes, so you can paint the texture in vs. importing a photo. The set shown in this tutorial is the watercolor lettering brush set ( every-tuesday.com/watercolor-lettering-brushes ), which has them as separate images. They're implemented a little differently, but the result is the same 👍
I was using the splatter bleed and the dots would just get all over the page how do you control the splatter to land where your pencil touches?? Love your videos btw!
It's set up to scatter (multiple dots spread around where your stylus is) - the smaller the size, the closer together they'll be, so I'd adjust that first!
Hi! Love your tutorials! I was wondering: how do you make them? You screen record on the ipad and combine it with something filmed with your camera? I will be very grateful if you can briefly explain it to me.
Teela can you help me! I’m new to procreate and I purchased and downloaded your brush set on my iPad. But it’s stuck in a zip file idk how to fix it. I saved it under “save to my iPad” and “procreate” but I can’t get it to appear to my brush list. HELP
Literally been bingeing your channel and tutorials! Awaiting my new iPad Pro so I’m getting super hyped to follow along with your videos on my iPad 💛 thank you sm xx
I just downloaded the brushes. When using the round illustration brush while filling in, the whole thing moves and doesn’t contain its shape. Am I using it wrong

I should have said 'brightest' at 3:07 - the lightest yellow color is for the background only 👍
Nice 👍🏻
Thank u
How do you film your overhead videos?

Do you think that following figure lines and pictures is cheating !! I only use this method for drawing lines, what do you think?
Thank you for the tutorial!!

How can you do this on PS CC?
You'll have to adjust it a bit, but the process should still be very similar.
