Guys, IAS officers’ jobs are possibly some of the highest ranking jobs in the country………..they could be sent to become district magistrates , Collectors , judges, superintendents of police, or they could be sent on deputations by the govt of India to various countries through their jobs at the embassies etc……..no one just takes off from India to go work in other countries once you are an IAS officer. These are prestigious jobs and only a few hundreds are able to pass these exams out of a total of 5-6 lakh people.
