A DJ without a Black Lace record is not a DJ. Black Lace represented Great Britain in 1979 in the Eurovision Song Contest and then in 1981 split up from a four-piece act into the now famous duo that we all love or hate. In 1983, Black Lace really hit the big time when they made the Top Ten with ""Superman"" and in the following year with ""Agadoo"" and ""Do The Conga"". Few songs are guaranteed to raise people from their seats for years to come but these never fail, even 32 years on. Understandably, whether people are young, old or in-between, fun is always high on our list of priorities. Black Lace are exactly that - fun!! This is Black Lace, a legend in their own lunch box!

These songs were a big part of my childhood (parties). Brilliant memories. Best days of my life. Wish I could live them all over again. My grandma (who is no longer with us) loved the birdie song. Felt a bit teary listening to it & thinking about her.
Same it reminds me of Christmases as a child at my grans house.
Mine too! My dad brought the LP home back then, I really enjoyed it way back then.

Oh man...many a Hogmany had this playing at full blast in my house as a kid. Many great memories attached to this album. RIP Aunty Biffy, this and Land of Make Believe by BUcks Fizz make me think of you xx

Love this brings back my child hood
Lately, I'm seeing things from my childhood from a different perspective. They always seemed recent and in reach as if we could go back, but everything is slipping further and further into the past and finally starting to look dated. I'm not old by any means, but the '90s are long gone.

This is the only cassette album we used to Dance at Home during birthday party. Now its 2018 n m still loving it , missed those days

Finding this has brought back memories, I had this album on 8 track cartridge, along with a couple of other Black Lace albums. It's now in my favourites list :-)

Brilliant takes me back to my childhood every Christmas and New Year this record was out with my elders all dancing around the living room and out in the garden when the conga came on. Good times shame they are not with us anymore and we no longer have parties like we used to
