Go take a walk through any other business such as FEDEX and see how they are.

Good riddance... While I can't even get a full-time job in this country people are complaining
Simple solution. Privatize Canada Post. Layoff 75% of them by down sizing. Have a stipulation in the contract that delivery must remain for a minimum of once a week to the remote and rural areas currently receiving mail delivery. As for the town and city's most people have gone electric delivery and deposit for everything. A once a week or even once every two weeks for those vary few (if any) snail mail that still comes. Most flyers are online now and for those that aren't , let the kids get vack to delivering them . There are still some kids that would love the chance to earn some money and they have a better work ethic than any postal employee. At least we wouldn't get 4 or5 of the same flyers in our nsil box because the postal employee wants to their day faster. Fire 75%of the regardless of whether it's Privatized or not. It will be run more efficiently and when keep the 25% of employees, they will be the once thst actually want to work. Looking for to Canada post 2.0
They can't go out once or twice a week to the rural areas it won't work. These are the areas that order online the most. And the areas that fed ex, dhl, ups, transfer to canada post because they loose money going to them. The parcels need delivered daily so might as well drop the letters off at the same time. Unless it's very small community like 10 po boxs or something.
Turdeau, Jughead and Blanchette need to be removed and placed in prison for treason against the Canadian People. The BLOC, being a provincial party must be removed from the Federal Parliament. Do we now, all agree, that we need a recall procedure to remove politicians that get carried away like this. We also need an elected Senate where we can hold senators accountable for backing up tyrants like this.
Trudeau was quick to freeze accounts and run away on vacation and not hear out the truckers. He chose to ignore this Canada Post issue of with holding paid services and keeping people’s purchased property as hostage. Beyond unreasonable! I live far north in Canada we don’t have malls up here. I wanted to buy more of the Black Friday sales but didn’t due to the non delivery. I hope the businesses sue Canada Post. Canada Post needs the Union desolved and get people who appreciate being employed! Or someone should set up a new postal delivery competitor. These current postal workers act like that are still riding pony express and risking life to get the mail through. I have official house purchase and deed out there in the mail somewhere. The email confirmation is just copies and not legal stamped punched and signed documents. This has been maddening.
If the rhino party can stay, the bloc can stay. They did no treason. Not wanting to follow poilievre is no treason, you are elected for 4 years. Poilievre just want to be in power.
I'm a Canadian and I do not like Canada Post. I sell products that I manufacture and sell in the USA and in Europe, I don't sell in Canada because shipping costs are outrageous. How about $27 to ship a 3" x 3" x 3" box with 90grams in it from Alberta to Montreal? Yet I can ship a 4kg box from here to almost anywhere in the USA for the same Amount via UPS. And yet I have a lousy UPS contract. I find the workers slow and regimented when I'm at the post office. No matter how many people are in the lineup, they just walk away when it's their coffee break, often leaving one person at the counter. And they like to chit chat while we all wait in line. And only Canada Post workers would go on strike and demand a 24% raise knowing their employer was billions in debt and recently lost another 315 million. I would recommend going to a 2 day a week delivery system. Perhaps then employee numbers could be reduced by 30 to 40% to make things more viable. Most of my mail is flyers anyway.
It costs under $19 dollars to send a 3x3x3 box under 90 grams with Canada Post. Its called an extra small flat rate box. Do some home work before trash talking. Also you can put up to 11 lbs in that box all for the same cost of under $19 and you get the box. !!!! The reason why it's cheaper to send out to the US is because once it leaves canada, canada post no longer has to pay people to process it DUH.
“Selfish Union people that ruin Christmas for many rural people and businesses!” Canada post should be dissolved and a new business model developed. In 2023, the Crown corporation lost $748 million before tax, which was more than the $548 million loss in 2022.
no union, group or person should be able to hold all of Canada, its people or its busnesses hostage for any reason.

Damage already done to charities and small businesses. 😢😢
Who really cares about charities
Why doesn't any news agency investigate the conflict of interest that Canada Post has?
Canada Post owns 91% of Purolator. That means they made tens of millions of dollars by not paying their workers while their shipping company benefitted.
Every economist said that if the settlement wasn't 16% over 4 years then the work force would actually make less money. Canada Post offered 11% because they profit from the strike.
They don’t care because we have the myth of journalistic integrity in Canada. The so-called Free Press is merely there now to parent what the government wants you to believe and to condition and mind program us to accept what they’re doing next culturally, Financially, politically, etc.
The old switch a roo. They be getting that purolater dollar bills.
Did u say CPC didnt pay its workers???? 1D10T
@@Bumpa1962 Of course they don't pay them while they are on strike. What is the matter with you?
Ahhh some truth about Post office management thank you
my neighbour just got hired by FedEx. Business booming, not losing money like Canada Post.
FedEx is the best!
This should have been done 2 weeks ago! Get on it!
Jagmeet you can start the protest bus now. By Tuesday next week we should now have an election
What if, we don't want an election!
Millions of Canadians, couldn't give two sh*TS, only the cons are so excited to replace Trudeau with Trudeau 2.0!
Reform Canada Post. Canadians are sick and tired of the postal service we currently have. The workers at Canada Post want to be paid the same as doctors and other highly educated professionals.
Doctors ? give your head a shake
Please end this Canada Postal strike! Let’s all get back to life!!
Back to life? it’s so sad and frustrating that people are so stupid to see the big picture. 🐑
@@GGalanos2lol they can’t stand to see other people doing better than them. They have a shitty job and want everyone else to suffer too. It’s jealousy and hatred.

Way to late hoss. Christmas is ruined and even more so Canada Post what little reputation they had is now gone. Now everyone will say WHY DID YOU WAIT SO LONG?
Finally. Time for CUPW to stop taking Canadians hostage.
Why don't I feel, as I am a hostage.
Odd.. right

@Marigold-m2 oh absolutely!
You sound entitled
Mommy spoiled little Ry Ry too much?
They have one gear, and its very slow.
Hahahaha we love to see it. These greedy unions are finally being told no and it makes me so happy. Lay off the instigators, force the rest back to work. This is what a strong government does. Love it. Let this be a lesson to the rest of them.
Too little too late...greedy arses.
What's the point, it's too late for Christmas, might as well resume talks in January

You'd need it in a postal strike
Well this gives them 6 months to find a new job if they don't like making 50 grand a year putting pizza flyers into boxes
How can anyone survive off 50 k?
FINALLY!!! This should've happened a while ago. The timing of this strike was pretty pathetic. I know they chose it because they thought they would get what they want faster but this was ridiculous and now, they get nothing for months. Well done for this complete failure at extortion.
Strikes by design are supposed to disrupt the flow.
Exactly, they should have chosen to strike when they had absolutely no leverage.
@@dasparkd Which is why in the beginning I understood why they made the move they did. They thought they'd get what they wanted sooner because they disrupted the flow at a crucial time for Canadians. They just failed miserably at completing the move successfully. All they did was piss people off, including people that were on their side.
@murrethmedia Clearly maximum leverage didn't help them either so maybe minimal leverage may have been successful.
@dasparkd Which is why I understood why they chose the time they did. But it just went on too long and ended up accomplishing nothing other than making Canadians angry, including people who were on their side.
Dismiss union & workers.....Fully Automate sorting center......then Hire only those ready to work......Billions in LOSS already this year 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Hey Jagmeet… you going to call an election now? Bootlicker.
What's Pierre going to do that's different?
@ lol he never said what Jagmeet said… why would you ask that?
No essential service should be allowed to strike amd mail is essential especially to seniors who have no digital knowledge.
Why don’t he do this earlier?
He should have he gave opportunity for resolution but union is too greedy
Too little, too late. Libs ruined Christmas.
The loss of revenue is too great a burden to overcome. There needs to be a fundamental change in management for any chance of survival as a business.

Pierre Polievre?
Way to late for many small business in Canada . I mailed 2 documents by FedEx Ground cost $ 207.48 that is too rich for a fixed income person . Things really have to change
Workers are demanding better conditions. How dare they. Better have the government come in and put a stop to that.
Are you dense? What working conditions at Canada post are problematic? This is the self righteousness and privilege of union idiots. Canada post is a JOB for life/ you work for 5 years ONLY and you are entitled for 70% of a FULL working wage FOR LIFE/ regardless. That’s PATHETIC. Unions exploit and abuse tax payers while framing themselves as these innocent workers desperate for money and better conditions. Go take a walk through any other business such as FEDEX and see how they are.
Better conditions? Benefits, pension, business hours, stat holidays, higher wages etc for uneducated labor is plenty enough.....they should all be fired and they should outsource to a local business not a crown corporation. Government union employees are the most disconnected pampered over paid and under worked labour in the entire labor force both public and private. Then they cry for more 😂 handout class at it again
woah, watch out buddy. you're going beyond the two government approved opinions on the matter! WOTW,U!
What better conditions?
Gender affirming care 😂
They need to revamp CP. Complete overhaul.
JusTax & JagTwit are done. We knocked for intelligence, but no one was home.
End thid harrasment and shut down canadapost
If they don’t want to work get new people.
Exactly
It's about time
No workers in Canada are more overpaid, under worked, and as entitled postal workers. They have never been this expendable in their history and should be ashamed of their poor performance and appalled that their union would have them abandon Canadians who relied on them for Christmas. Defund Canada Post.?
Tell us all you've never met a postal worker in real life, without actually saying it... 🙄
Source? Oh right, you have none. You just pulled it out of your arse.
This man is 100% right
This truly shows just how selfish and uncaring the Canadian masses truly are. So many of us rely on the mail, and if the postal service workers are standing up for their right to a sustainable wage and better working conditions (which is a basic human right), you shouldn't be reiterating the opinions of others who have no empathy for what their fellow man is going through
Teacher are.
Hallelujah and Amen. Finally. Happy for the Small businesses, travelers, people waiting for important documents amd merchandise. Lesson learned; never leave ourselves vulnerable and dependent on Canada Post ever again Pre Christmas/Holidays!!
A little late.... Should be illegal for postal service to do this. They sure are making A.I. look better.... Good job Postal Service!
Long overdue!
It was about time.
They gonna hire the Amazon delivery companies for weekends and that’s what the lazy Canada post employees are scared cause those Amazon drivers work hard
Finally!!!!!!!!!!
about time the government acted
They are still at the office doing nothing. Let’s fire them thanks.
Don't order them back to work. Cut all the public money that goes into Canads Post and let them figure it out. For God's sake. This can be fixed in one afternoon.
how much money from the public actually goes into the company? can you give me a link
@dicastes5068 Over 2 billion per year. They also originated as a crown corporation. Built entirely with tax dollars.
@@dicastes5068Some key changes for January 13 2025 rate update:Stamps purchased at post office or retail outlet will cost $1.44 per single stamp, or $1.24 each if purchased in coil or booklet.

Thanks to CP and its workers, my 90 year old sick mother won’t get the gift of knitted slippers for Christmas, to keep her warm, because they’ve been suspended in mid air for a month.

Odd, Europe is far more unionized and look at them.
This should have been done 3 WEEKS ago !! Useless as f•k now !!
... on a Friday, how surprising
I absolutely loathe Canada Post, it just needs to end, and let private enterprise fill any void.
So much damage they have caused.
bravo, finally, about time
Why did they go on strike in the first place? I still don’t know why.
Finaly!
Finally. This does not just affect packages in bougie rural or suburban communities. This affects those on reservations who desperately need their medicine, poor slash homeless people who need identification, those living in small towns who have to use public post office boxes, just to name a few. Good riddance... While I can't even get a full-time job in this country people are complaining
After the no confidence vote..cute
Good!
Can we privatize government as well?
Hire a property management company to run Canada's daily affairs *hahahaha*
They can't go out once or twice a week to the rural areas it won't work. These are the areas that order online the most. And the areas that fed ex, dhl, ups, transfer to canada post because they loose money going to them. The parcels need delivered daily so might as well drop the letters off at the same time. Unless it's very small community like 10 po boxs or something.
Privatize Canada Post. There's no need for them!
if there's no need for them then why privatize? yes- lets make everyone an amazon worker -- that will solve everything
Stay on your meds.
If the rhino party can stay, the bloc can stay. They did no treason. Not wanting to follow poilievre is no treason, you are elected for 4 years. Poilievre just want to be in power.
@BuffaloGuy wow step away from the car and lower your weapon. Otherwise, you'll be sentenced to life in Alberta.
How many days late? And how many dollars short?
No one cares tbh
Good. Overdue
Does this means the workers are going back to work within couple day?
You chose to live in canada and not the USA 🇺🇸 so you’ll have to deal with a lot of consequences.
@yesmaam4269 Just did the quote and it was significantly higher of a cost stop the cap. Mailing across the USA is way cheaper.
@@yesmaam4269 Did you remember to add on the never-ending fuel surcharge? You have to go to checkout to see that and it often adds 30% to the cost.
@@JustinJohnson-id1sl Indeed!
“Selfish Union people that ruin Christmas for many rural people and businesses!” Canada post should be dissolved and a new business model developed. In 2023, the Crown corporation lost $748 million before tax, which was more than the $548 million loss in 2022.
Obviously a complex issue but striking workers impeding pedestrian foot traffic on public sidewalks is not cool.
