Your video was beautiful and it was really nicely made. I have watched probably a good 20 videos now about Alaska. This is the only one that showed shops that showed cities towns. People walking around actually doing things. Thank you because this was educational and I felt like I was there.
Hello my friend, YOU DONT KNOW HOW I ENJOYED THIS BEAUTIFUL VIDEO, I LOVE ALASKA I CERTAINLY DO, ¿AND THE MUSIC ON IT? IS A DREAM, SUCH A DREAM, TO SEE AND FLY AWAY IN MY IMAGINATION, WALKING, EATING, RELAXING, CONGRATULATIONS, AND BY THE WAY I LIKE YOUR CAP, THANK YOU.
Thanks for sharing this. A 3rd fantastic way to experience Alaska that is far different from this is by cruise ship. We went out of Seattle on the 7 Day, with stops in Victoria Canada, Juneau, Ketchikan, Mendenhall Glacier and Skagway. We had excursions by helicopter to the top of a glacier, bus to another glacier, double decker at Victoria and a pontoon plane to an inland lake. We plan to do the 10 day next to go a bit further north.
Been there done all this with friends who live in Alaska. Best vacations ever. Slept in a hotel at Homer spit, ground floor maybe ten feet from the ocean. It was awesome. Even the Estes Bro store at Moose Pass, had to with my surname Estes. LOL
I truly enjoyed your video and excellent comments that were very helpful in planning our trip. Good sites to film and good accompanying music. I have heard many Rvers boondock on the spit. Thank you.
Thank you so much for putting together these videos of your BEAUTIFUL state. I continue to dream of being able to go back and see everything and try every seafood restaurant. LOL! But, my biggest dream is to go fishing and land some big salmon and halibut!!!
It's on my bucket list to go to Livengood Alaska. My cousin made a roadtrip there. I heard it's a nothing little town, but it would still be awesome to see. We have all the Pictures, of course, of Jay Livengood, and I think one of the Leibolds before they started off with the Sandusky company to go mine gold in Alaska. This is beautiful.
I did the drive from anchorage to the dalton highway a few months ago. Alaska truly is an amazing place. Not many places left on earth that are so remote and beautiful.
It’s actually not bad. I was in it during a 6.0 a couple years ago. My company also did the structural concrete upgrades inside the tunnel. It is very sound and able to withstand a bad earthquake. There are several safe houses along the tunnel in case of breakdown or any disaster. I know your comment is 5mos ago but figured I’d let you know. 😂
You did just an awesome job on this video. I used to run around in Seward and Homer as a youngster. It has changed A LOT. Enjoyed the music accompanying this video. Can you tell me the names of the songs?
When getting directions in Alaska, locals use the names of the highways. Many may not know where Highway 1 is but they definitely know the Seward Highway. Make sure and ask!! Interpretation: Highway 1 is the Seward Highway but it is also the Glen Highway. Major highways in Alaska: Seward Highway, Glenn Highway, Stirling Highway, Parks Highway, Richardson Highway.
Exactly this. If a tourist in Anchorage were to ask to me "how do I get to Highway 1?" I would be a bit lost at first... then probably ask where they are trying to go to.
Nobody calls it "Highway 1", it is called the Seward Highway in that direction, south from Anchorage, and the Glenn highway in the other direction, to the north. Even though the two sections are not really even connected, in Anchorage you end up on small city streets in between.
Great video! Just watched it, we are off to Anchorage on June 17th and renting a motorhome to travel the Kenai for a week before boarding a cruise ship out of Seward. Any must see, and pass on sights to see? Looks outstanding, when did you make the trip, June 2021? Thanks!
There is some boat tours around Homer that will take you across the bay to Seldovia. They say it's a bit of a wildlife tour also. The whole area around Homer seems interesting to me. lots of Fishing going on up there.
I am planning my second trip to Alaska! This time taking the railroad Fairbanks to Anchorage then Seward to Homer. It sounds like it might be a good idea to drive Seward to Homer??? ANY tips? Places to stay along the way like an Inn or something??? Thanks for your videos!
Driving from Seward to Homer'd be definitely awesome.I did that last month & had great fun....I stayed @ the Beluga Lodge near the Beluga Lake in Homer & its just some 4 miles from Homer Spit...its not a Hi Fi place but basic but ok & close to everything....I did solo road trip from Anchorage to Fairbanks, & once by the Alaska Railroad ( adventure class ) just for the experience & its unforgettable trip....Enjoy......!!!
I know this comment is a little old, but just to clarify the high prices are mostly likely due to high import costs, whether by road sea or air, I’m sure shipping food up there is no easy task.
lived in alaska for 3 years 1978-81 and it is indeed bueatiful but can have some harsh weather. the only time I went as far north as fairbanks was in the summertime. while there learned to ski, fish for salmon and probably needless to say saw more moose than a person would see squirrels in the lower 48 states🐻🐇🫎🐺🏔❄🙂

I hope someday i am going to USA to Alaska 🌹🌹👍
It is a very well done video
Nice food hope look some vacation home
Really beautiful state :) but I'd hate to be stuck in that tiny tunnel during an earthquake x.x
I've heard its actually safer in a tunnel versus alot of other places because the tunnel can bend and move
This was awesome. Thanks for sharing. 👏. I’m working on my video of my recently visit there July 17.2021. ❤️🙏
mmm... King Street. My preferred hiking beer.
Great footage! Can you imagine if someone breaks down in that tunnel, yikes.
beautiful
The view there looks better than Los Angeles.
Hey from Kenai!
Next time you’re in Seward stop by the Seward Alehouse for their famous Panty Dropper Ale.
Plan on sleeping there lol.
Im looking at moving to Alaska/kenai peninsula area. Is there a decent amount of work to sustain?
My dream to live in a tiny little cabin in Alaska
thank you
Congrats for this video, it is awesome. Hey, what time of the year is this? Please

Great job! Great video! One question foryou, Where is the mexican restaurant "Playa Azul" in Alaska?
What time of the year was this?
Hi there, loved the video! What’s that song playing at the 12minute mark ongoing? Thanks!

True, but certainly not unique to AK. I've lived in WI & TN and it's common in both of those places, as well.
Exactly this. If a tourist in Anchorage were to ask to me "how do I get to Highway 1?" I would be a bit lost at first... then probably ask where they are trying to go to.

Good info / how did you get your vehicle up there? were is a good starting point if one wants to drive? Thx
We rented the car in Fairbanks and drove down.
Alaska Rocks! I've done all this myself in 2015. How about visiting ALBANIA - Island Hopper?
Curious where you ate at in Soldotna and where you seen all the eagles along the beach?
A lot more people around there than I though there would be

Do you live in Alaska ?..🤩😉💙👍
Could an RV make it through the tunnel?
Yes
You went to the Homer spit and didn't go into the Salty Dog? Shame.😊
Good I'm looking fine. .
What is with those whooshing sounds 😂
Eu sou do Brasil São Paulo
I may have commented on this before, don't remember. However, you are mis-pronouncing Kenai. You would say Keen ni. Anyway, like your vid.
Tem uma irmã que mora aí
15$ for chicken tenders... wow... talk about high costs.

You should have done just a little bit more homework.
Lots of pride flags
