dude hitman is one of my all time favorite games purely on the replay ability on getting them sweet sweet silent assassins' grades after figuring out all the little loop holes, love the video man!
Finally someone showed how to fight "garbage bins"! Thanks, that's quite annoying sometimes, like in New York. And it completely ruins the game in freelancer.
Never see this on tip videos but it's so cool; SHOOT LIGHT SOURCES, dim the area by knocking out the brightest lights and it actually makes a visibility difference to enemy AI, they can't see as far, or as clearly, giving you more leeway on stealth. That's WHY every light source in ALL THREE games can be shot out. 😆
I've played 1 and 2 several times now and never considered half of these moves...which is fantastic as it gives me a reason to go play them again...well played sir, well played 👏
This got recommended to me because of everything I’ve been searching for Hitman 3. Brilliant video! I played the hell out of the last two Hitman games, but some of these genuinely blew my mind. Thanks, dude!
I've had WOA for about 4 months and I figured out most of these tricks on my own. The ones I didn't know were the quick drop distraction trick and the stunlock/throw up trick. Thanks for expanding my arsenal!
My comment is basically the same as everyone else's. Just got SA/SO in all destinations and this video pops up and shows me 33-50% things I've never done or thought of! Where was this in my recommendations months ago? lol
Hey man this video really got my Hitman 2 creative juices flowing. I know videos like these take a LOT of work, but even if you made one half the length with more tricks like these it would be awesome! I subscribed just in case you put out more in the future :)
Very nice guide, learned some new things despite playing these games regularly over the past couple of years. That tip about the placed distractions will be very useful going forward, and it explains why sometimes the Targets would tell a guard to check something out instead of doing it themselves.
If you move the body after a drown kill and it gets found it doesn’t count as accident. Same goes for accidental ko like Trank gun, fire extinguishers, banana, rake.
I miss the electrocution phone. I guess the devs thought it was overpowered. A few other pointers I've found useful: You can shoot open locked doors with bigger guns. You can shoot most items that need to be armed w/ a screw-driver or wrench in prep for an explosion and it will arm them. A second shot will set them off. You can throw melee items at cameras to disable them (works in hitman 3/woa at least). Not all knockouts are created equal. Some tools have longer animations. Some are louder. If you are on a map where you can wade in water, getting a target to the ground in any way, in that water, (shoot once in the leg, knockout by any means) will kill them with a drowning accident kill. This is displayed on Haven Island in this video but works well elsewhere as well. If you push your body up against a flat surface (space bar on PC), you can get additional "subdue" opportunities. You can pull NPCs over tables, around corners, etc. Just lure an npc w/ a coin and mash your subdue button as they approach (Q on PC). The approaching NPC should not spot you. You can be spotted at times by other nearby NPCs. Breaking an NPCs neck during a subdue is louder than doing a full subdue then breaking the neck. No idea why but it is. If you have the remote emetic gas device, bring it in a briefcase. Take it out then put it back in. Now you will have the trigger in your inventory. Walk up next to a target and hit the trigger. The target will get a cloud of emetic gas and get sick leaving you an easy kill. Crowbar vs lock pick: crowbar is faster but louder and leaves door open permanently. Crowbar is also melee where lockpick is one-dimensional. Crowbars are found on most, if not all, maps. Lock picks are rarely found on maps. Cannon gunpowder will blow open locked doors same as an exploding golf ball or door charge except you need to shoot it after throwing/placing it.
Yeah, as far as I’m aware, SA rating is achieved as long as a “homicide didn’t take place” to the AI. So, either the body wasn’t found or it was yet it looked like an accident with no perpetrator. You can cause panic and mayhem in a level and still earn SA rating.
Funny how every place you used to showcase every tip was the same place I learnt these tips. Also, I actually didn’t know some of these and I have a few hundred hours in hitman 2 so good job!
I want to point out, I discovered silent attacking someone with a gun killed them when my finger slipped and I pulled out my gun before I subdued someone.

It is fair to say if you have completed each mission in this game just once then you haven’t played the game at all 🙅🏾♂️for casuals like myself it’s so easy to fixate on perfection rather than experimentation which is the meat of this game. Definitely! you should check out Hitman 2 roulettes you just pick what mission you are playing and it will randomly tell you how to complete the mission (Kill X target, With Y Suit, and Z Weapon) and you can also make it where adds other special rules like no crouching etc.
Throw coin then immediately pick it up is a good trick. Still lures NPCs; normally, when you drop a coin and they pick it up and you knock them out or kill them , the coin is gone forever.
Sometimes a lock-down will make it impossible to kill a VIP if they hunker down and surround themselves with guards. This happened to me in the Paris Fashion House location in the first game. I killed the male target by dropping the lights on him on the runway and the female target ran and took cover in her private office. There was no way to take her out silently.
