Jason……This made me tear up…you touched my heart! My dad always told me …it was good to be different/unique , what a boring place this would be …if we were all alike. That Navajo ring is stunning…what an eye you had even at that age. I love how you make it feel like I was there …just visiting a friend!!! I learned so much in a short amount of time with your history & knowledge . What a wonderful Collection! I can feel your love for your babies…what a beautiful way to celebrate your time with them! You are an amazing artist. I can’t wait to see more of your videos!
Oh my Gosh, some of the most incredible pieces l have ever seen in my 66.5 years. You just can't find things of that beauty on the street, etc anymore. Most are museumsquality now.❤️❤️❤️
I feel the same way about ivory. The animal is long gone and the workmanship is frequently wonderful. While you cannot sell it, it would be a shame to destroy it. A wonderful collection, and very informative.
From one jeweller to another…beautiful. You have good taste, a good eye, excellent design skills, and good hands for making. I very much enjoyed your first video…thank you.🖤🇨🇦
Jason, WOW your collection is just beautiful, 😊 i have been collecting for about 30 and skull i have a lot to learn. Just beautiful 🎉 thank you for sharing your collection and all your knowledge 😊

What gorgeous pieces you have, thank you so much for sharing. I live near Whitby, it's very beautiful here.I have always loved the Victorian era, I grew up with Victorian antiques, I am originally from London. We all had 'hand-me-down' furniture, ornaments, etc. Victorian or Edwardian, I love it.

Oh Jason, wow wow wow. What a collection! And your work is beautiful. Your story about your childhood sounded like me. When I was a small child, sometimes my mother would say, "We have a free day. What would you like to do?" I always said, "Go to antique shops!" I was too young to buy anything, but I just loved to look. Like you, my first piece of jewelry that I bought in high school was a native turquoise piece--a heishi bead necklace that I still wear. Even back then I liked buying jewelry better than clothes, because I knew jewelry would last and clothes would not. Thank you so much for making this video. I enjoyed it so much and loved hearing about your accomplishments and getting to know you better.
VAMPY! YOU FOUND ME! YOU ARE ANOTHER OF MY FAVORITES! YOU ARE SIMPLY THE BEST. SO GLAD TO BECOME BETTER FRIENDS. I KNEW YOU COULD RELATE TO ME. AND THANKS FOR ENCOURAGING MY HUMOR AT TANYA'S SALES! LOVE U ❤️
A real walk through history - you should do a show on you own hand made jewelry and designs! that's top notch silver work and design there on the rings you made for yourself. The "tube" ring is the kind of original design that could make you famous! I would heavily research the victorian NY goldsmith portrait bracelet. It will add so much to the value finding out more about; not just the goldsmith but also who the sitter was AND especially the miniature portrait painter! Whoever the artist was - it's first rate painting and he or she would be renowned no doubt. It wouldn't be hard to find other miniature portraits from new york that match the style to make an attribution. The sitter would be from a known wealthy family as well (not very many people could afford a bracelet like that back then)
I was on a quest to learn more about you. Just found this video. The year is now 2024. Have you ever done a video on vintage Italian/ Scandinavian art glass? I find it impossible to identify most of the different types.
I enjoyed your video so much, Jason! You are a natural, and you have some absolutely incredible pieces in your collection!! Personally I would love to see more antique pieces, if you have more in your collection. I can never get enough of antique jewellery lol. Thank you so much for sharing pieces from your collection with us! I am also blown away by the pieces you made yourself 🤩
Hi Lisa! Thank you SO much for taking time to watch my video! I have so much more to share! I stayed very focused on true antique pieces. I loved genuine Art Nouveau and Arts & Crafts pieces. I will be glad to share more for you! Again thank you for being so kind!!! Stay blessed ❤❤❤❤❤
The sheer breadth and detail of your collection is astonishing. Plus the individual curated knowledge of each treasured piece is like getting a glimpse of heirlooms. Nowadays the detailed rituals of Victorian mourning are almost as arcane as Egyptian mummies. One of the few surviving reenactments is the "phony mourning" scene by Jack of his mythical brother Ernest in Oscar Wilde's THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST. Men would wear top hats "adorned"with black ribbon or crepe bands, tightly rolled black umbrellas or mourning canes and mourning handkerchiefs : white silk with black ribbon edges and tiny black tassles at each corner. Life was in the details. Thank you Jason
Oh my gosh… your Lab… I am so sorry. I totally get it and could hear it in your voice. There is absolutely nothing in the world like the love of a Labrador Retriever!! I have never got over losing my Lab either. I wish I had been into jewelry when I lost my Lab. I would have loved to have done something like you did with the lock of hair. ❤ Maybe I can still gather up enough strands of his hair, as you know, it gets everywhere, and maybe I could still find some if I look hard enough. I’ll try. Wonderful collection. I’ll be watching.
Lolol i hardly ever do what I'm told!!!!!!!!!!!😂😂😂😂 love love love all of these pieces, finally watching this one! What a great idea to put your furbabys hair in the locket! I never thought of that!!!! Again, amazing pieces, thank you for sharing and i just adore these vids, what a treasure you are for sharing your treasures!!!!!

You popped up in my UA-cam feed, and I was immediately captivated by your first ring purchase at 16 WOW!!! Ohhh i love the Victorian mourning jewellery - I'm on the hunt now 🖤 I collect Victorian buttons - l would love to see more buttons from your collection. I was so moved by your beautiful rings in memory of your furbabies ❤ and the gorgeous art nouveau pendant ❤ btw I don't clean silver either 😘

Oh what a beautiful ring you made for your Zeto. I just recently lost my 19 year old Terrier mix bestie and I just haven't been the same since. Wish I had a smidgeon of your talent to make something with his hair and/or ashes. Wonderful tribute you did. ❤🩹
Enjoyed this video tremendously. The butterfly piece you made is beautiful. There is much food for thought throughout this video. I am revisiting it and noticing more each time. Your information and pieces are phenomenal. I appreciate the respect you show for everything- a lesson well learned.
I know very little about Jewellery so after watching this I know a ton more. Very beautiful pieces and I love the History behind them. I never even knew they used hair to make pictures with. Amazing. I’d love to see more of whatever you love as your passion oozes through your words. You can still get raw Whitby Jet washed up on the beaches.
Jason I feel like I am in class and you are the teacher with all the knowledge that I am gaining from your video and I love it!!! I need to warn you though I am probably going to misbehave and you know who I am going to blame it on...hee,hee,hee. See it has already started.🙃😂😅🤣I 💓U!!! Tee

Yes, the Ivrey cross with lily of the valley ingraved is totally beautiful . I have a brouch made of the same thing . My father was a jeweler, and when he saw it, he asked me to wear it came from. A friend's wife had given it to me after he had passed away.
Wonderful video and gorgeous pieces! Thank you for sharing! It's lovely to see what was so sentimental and loving from the past and your creations are mind boggling as well. Especially the last one. Keep it up!

I have been on the lookout for a pendant to hold my late Dolly's fur. I was considering a little glass globe or a glass locket, but I would loooove to find a Victorian mourning pendant!
Greetings Sunflower. Thank you for stopping by.. loosing our cherished pets is the most difficult thing we go through. Keep looking because these pendants exist and would be a great way to keep them close when they depart this plane. ❤️🩹❤️🩹❤️🩹
It's extremely hard losing our fur babies. We lost a 8 yr old Basset to heart issues and an 8 yr old rat terrier with cancer. Had to put both down worst days of our lives other than losing people family members. I miss them ever day. They went everywhere with us. We now have a BoJack and she is amazing. My sister and brother in law gifted her to us at 8 weeks old when lost our Chi mix Buddy. She just turned 2 on the 19th and has brought us so much joy. They have her brother and sister and we have play dates. I'm sorry for your loss'

PHILLIP! thank you for your kind comment and taking time for me! ❤❤❤
You really are blessed and I'm blessed that you are here. My ONYX was everything to me. ❤️❤️❤️

Yes, the Ivrey cross with lily of the valley ingraved is totally beautiful . I have a brouch made of the same thing . My father was a jeweler, and when he saw it, he asked me to wear it came from. A friend's wife had given it to me after he had passed away.

I have a pic of my ofrenda on my ig if you wanna check it out 💕 Same handle ☺️
It's extremely hard losing our fur babies. We lost a 8 yr old Basset to heart issues and an 8 yr old rat terrier with cancer. Had to put both down worst days of our lives other than losing people family members. I miss them ever day. They went everywhere with us. We now have a BoJack and she is amazing. My sister and brother in law gifted her to us at 8 weeks old when lost our Chi mix Buddy. She just turned 2 on the 19th and has brought us so much joy. They have her brother and sister and we have play dates. I'm sorry for your loss'
Fabulous pieces! You’ve got the curator’s eye and serious knowledge to boot. Oh yeah, and you’re quite the artist. Jason, you’re a triple threat…in the best way possible. Keep’em coming!
